Cozy spot with patio seating out front. Decent flavors. However, the pizza here is the type to flop and droop the second you pick it up. The toppings and sauce kept sliding off. Nevertheless, it was still very tasty.

I know this is primarily a pizza and pasta place, but the herb fries were actually the best fries I have had in a while. They were thin cut and crispy and just delicious! We also ordered the margherita pizza and devoured all of it. It was my first visit and they were quite busy, but service was excellent nonetheless. We’ll be back for more.

The food was delicious. We (party of 6) had margherita pizza, cheese pizza, and a New Jersey tomato pie, along with two different starter plates, and an affogatto worth a deal with the devil.

I ordered the chopped salad, which was tossed in a house dressing. My favorite bites had a little of everything in them, which speaks to the ingredient pairing. The bacon was thick and perfectly crisp and such a treat in the salad! The dressing was light and I wanted to lick the plate at the end. I also had the sautéed greens and broccoli rabe. I loved the spice of the chili flakes and how crisp the kale was compared to the softness of the broccoli. Very fresh and satisfying. For dessert I had the citrus olive oil cake. This is a unique item and you have to like olive oil to appreciate it, but the citrus was such a great flavor and it was moist and a real treat! I’ve had the pizza in the past and always enjoyed the food here!

Great beer selection, friendly staff and some quality Pizza/Calzones. I got the All Meat Calzone, and if I had any complaints about it, it would be that there was too much meat. But that’s a ridiculous complaint! It was amazing. My wife got the Pepperoni pizza and she enjoyed it enough to reheat the remainder for dinner the next day. My daughter got the Spaghetti & meatballs. She ate them all and she’s only 9, so that seems like a positive. I also got a s’mores like dessert that was really tasty.

Pizza was kinda creasy, and the pepperoni was over seasoned. Other than that, the individual ingredients are very high quality. The areas clean and setting is nice for cozy pizza dinners. Pretty clear why it’s an area staple eatery.

The waitress was inattentive and not personable. Appetizers were good (antipasto and asparagus). However, the hot dishes came out relatively cold. There was not a good balance of cheese on the New Jersey pizza, instead of pizza it felt like I was just chewing on large chunks of rubbery cheese and bread. Dessert had a tasty buttercream, but it was atop the driest cake. Overall a lackluster experience, and would not return.

While I don’t frequent this fine establishment as often as some of East Sac’s other eateries, I do appreciate the quality of food here. I particularly enjoy the calzone. Great tastes but higher prices than other local spots.

Pizza was really tasty. They have gluten free crust and vegan cheese. Outdoor seating is kind of small but dog friendly.

Most folks come for the pizza, but the hamburger is the way to go. It’s so good! The meet tastes fresh. They cook it perfectly. i.e. When I ask for Medium, I get Medium. This is not always the case with some other restaurants. It was topped with roasted peppers and onions…and all the other usual veg. The fries are thin, crispy and hot. Always good when they’re hot. My Son had an Italian Spritzer. It was very good, but seemed a little spendy. We did order the focaccia with red pepper hummus for a starter. It was a little overboard, but it was warm focaccia. What are you going to do? All in all, lovely dinner. Can’t wait to go back again.
