First time at this restaurant. Despite a few negative things we experienced this place is a hidden gem. We had a reservation for 7 and prior to our reservation we get a call from the restaurant letting us know that the chef and sous chef called out unexpectedly and that we may have to wait a little longer to get our food. We weren’t in any rush and really appreciated the heads up. Very rare that a restaurant would even think of doing that so that was a plus. We greeted instantly when we walked into this cozy, candlelit and intimate setting. We ordered and got our cocktails fairly quickly. Which were all deliciously made by the same guy who greeted us, bartender and our server. Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. From the wedge salad, French onion soup to our mouthwatering burgers. I’m a huge fan of French onion soup but the restaurant’s AC was not working. It’s was a little warm in the restaurant but again the service and food was exceptional. I’ll definitely be back for sure!!

Speak easy feel. Dark atmosphere, we were suggested this spot by another bartender, and it did not disappoint! Old fashion and NY sour was fantastic. The history of Grand Marnier made us feel like we were in the 1940’s. I truly felt the history of this bar and staff was 2nd to none. Did not eat, sorry.

Very unique and enjoyable establishment with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Within minutes of settling into my seat at the bar, I not only had water and menu’s but the bartender was halfway thru crafting the best tasting Old Fashioned I’ve ever consumed and was calling me by name. Even though dining alone this particular evening, the friendly nature of the staff and other patrons made for a fantastic dining experience!

One-Eyed Mike’s is an institution in the Fells Point area and the only bar specializing in Grand Marnier that I know of. They are currently going through a transition with new ownership so I’m assuming that is the reason why they had a very limited menu when we visited. I had the duck and my wife had the bravette steak. Unfortunately, my duck was extremely fatty and barely chewable. It was also $38 for two small cuts of meat on a shallow bed of lackluster mashed potatoes. My wife did enjoy her steak, and I wish, in retrospect, I would have ordered differently. The drinks were very good. The Perfect Storm is their flagship drink and worth a few rounds, but I liked their version of a Manhattan with Grand Marnier the best. Only one dessert was offered, a Grand Marnier Creme Brulee, which was satisfactory. Be prepared to spend some cash. Almost $200 for the two of us after a few drinks, appetizers, and entrées. If you are really in the mood to spend some cash, they have a 125-year-old Grand Marnier Quintessence, which you can taste for $300.00.

One of my favorite places to visit when I find myself in Fells Point. The bartenders, servers and owner are all awesome, easy going people. Food is spectacular, and the GM Club is something everyone needs in their life! Had the Ribeye special with shrimp, hands down the best value in the area!

I was visiting my friend in Baltimore and she knew of this place from her daughter. We had a great time as well as a great meal. Our server was wonderful. The decor made me feel like I was entering a ship’s galley. (Very low lighting). Great ambiance. Our favorites were the smash burger, nachos and meatball appetizer. There’s a lovely outside eating area in the back. We also had a great bottle of wine.

I liked the French onion soup and the smash burger. The cocktails are top notch. You can tell the bartender takes making a drink serious.

We didn’t eat so I can’t rate the food…but service was excellent and this is a very different place..all dedicated to Gran Mariner. I think they have more than France. The story behind it is neat but it was very very dark inst.

I have many dietary restrictions and it turned out I couldn’t eat anything on the menu but the chef and server were attentive to that and the chef made an amazingly delicious meal for me. My friends (all on menu) enjoyed their meals and drinks too.
