Amazing cuban sandwich! Piled high with perfectly cooked pork, pickles, and mustard sauce. We ate outside at the picnic tables and were accompanied by the cutest – and most polite – resident golden retriever family. We will be back for sure!

My sandwich was absolutely amazing. I dare say best sandwich I have ever eaten(French dip, it was the special). Something about ordering made me give 4 stars on service. It felt rushed and crowded and the cashier seemed over it that day. The store is adorable and had tons of cool things to look at and buy while waiting on food that comes out pretty quickly. We are at the picnic tables right outside the store and enjoyed that very much. I loved Cashiers and will definitely be back to this restaurant or next visit!!!

The pulled pork is Really Good, I mean really Good and tasty. Slaw is pretty good too. We ate there 2 days in a row. I got the BBQ chicken next. It was ok. The skin was dry and chewy. The meat was moist but tough. We tried the chicken salad. It’s ok, I wouldn’t order it again. The service is ok, you order at a window and wait for your number to be called. It’s a neat looking place and the little market next door is just Awesome. Lots of fresh food, desserts, meats. The restaurant. I am not trying to put it down in any way. We tried a few more sandwiches. They are ok. In my opinion, they have The best pulled pork sandwich around!!!! Saucy and tasty and they didn’t skimp on the meat!!!! Parking is a little tight. They have a nice picnic area to enjoy your food, just not enough picnic tables.

Clean kitchen, fresh bread and meats. The bbq pork sandwich comes with a sauce on the side. I liked the vinegar bbq sauce but I think the sweet would’ve done better justice to the sandwich. Also very good banana pudding! Rich and you don’t need to eat a lot to get your fill!

Pros: The bun for the sandwich was fresh and tasted good, the sandwich came with chips, a drink, and a side, and the staff offered my children stickers which was sweet.

Great roadside lunch spot in Cashiers. Great spot to sit outside on the park benches and enjoy good food and the cool mountain air. The Cuban and pulled pork were great as well as the specials each day.

We were in the area for a college tour and wanted to try something local. Glad we did because this place was great! Egg salad sandwich and tuna salad sandwich were excellent. Blackberry cobbler hit the spot for dessert.

Had brisket sandwich and turkey sandwich. They come with one side, drink, and chips which make the prices worth it. Brisket was smoky and tender. Vinegar sauce was tasty with a little burn at the end -nice change of pace. Turkey was good but had no smoke taste. Sourdough bread was good. The lady manning the order window was great. Picnic tables available to dine on. The attached farmer’s market was full of normal overpriced jellies, relishes, etc for tourists.

Great food, great service. Just a little congested in Cashiers’s for my taste. But an excellent restaurant and would highly recommend it

My wife and I had lunch there today. You order and pick up at a window. My wife’s pulled pork was very tasty, as was my Cuban sandwich. Seating outside in the parking lot at tables with umbrellas. The establishment seemed well-run. Perhaps just a tad pricy; my wife and I got their lunch special of sandwich, small bag of chips, can of soda, and side-in-a-tiny-container, and it ran us $27 total.
