Awful experience tonight. Called ahead of time to see if I needed to make a reservation for two. Person on the phone said no need it’s really dead. Okay cool. My wife and I go in, we go completely unnoticed until the nice people they were trying to seat say that came in after us say no they were here first. Okay no biggie! They ask if we’re eating a dinner meal and I tell them no we would just like a couple of salads tonight. We were told to find a seat anywhere on the bar side. Find a seat, given a menu by the bartender helper, and they show up with one drink out of two (I asked for a water). Again, not a big deal. We sat and waited for 15 minutes when it was completely dead on the bar side with servers and bartenders walking by us continuously and nobody even noticed us. We left some change for my wives sprite and went to Applebees instead where we got friendly service instantly for the salads we wanted.

They do make their own pasta. However, as far as authentic Italian ingredients go and as for their published wine list; sub par. The sauce to my linguine alla Broadway was perfect in flavor. It was unfortunate that they put so much sauce on, that the pasta was swimming in it. And it was on a small, shallow plate as opposed to a pasta bowl.

A relaxed restaurant a short walk from ‘The Gulch’ in downtown Helena. We had attentive, friendly service and good food. Live music was playing in the other half of the restaurant, but our side was good for quiet conversation.

They don’t take reservations so had to wait 30 minutes. Not bad though, the bar area has lots of seating options and you can enjoy appetizers and drinks while you wait. Antipasta plate was very good. Excellent dinner salad. My wife got tuscan chicken taht was very good. My steak was not seasoned at all but was cooked perfect.

On Broadway has the greatest employees and food! This is the place we go to for our special occasions and celebrations, from Birthday parties to Anniversaries we have always gotten the best service and food. I love the Grilled Mozzarella skewers, Chilled Artichokes with Lemon Dill mayonnaise for appetizers, and the Scampi and Chicken Broadway for entrees. Chocolate Mousse Cake or Huckleberry Rum Swirl Cheesecake the desserts are wonderful!

On Broadway is a happening place on a Monday nights. Server was very charming and attentive. The only glitch was that the salad arrived before the appetizer, however the steamed mussels were excellent. Ribeye steak was flavorfull though a little chewey. Never the less, we enjoyed our meal.
