Scrimp was excellent. Gumbo was OK…liquid was from crab boil bag and too much sausage but otherwise ok for Texas (it is not traditional south Louisiana gumbo per say). Worth the drive to eat here. In a tough part of town but I felt safe. Don’t expect a nice restaurant as it is a dive both inside & out….if that bothers you, take out. Cooked fresh and hot.

Went there today for the first time. Ordered everything to go. The crawfish was absolutely delicious and very spicy. The shrimp was perfectly done and very tasty. The catfish was very good but there was only one fillet on the platter which was very disappointing. Sausage was “ok”. Potatoes and corn were also excellent. Not a lot of seating inside. It was kinda hot inside and the air was still with no fans so I wouldn’t have wanted to eat inside anyway. Plenty of seating outside though. And BTW, we were told you are welcome to BYOB beer and alcohol.

OK we ordered a number to platter that has have corn potato, sausage and shrimp. It was delicious but I’m telling you right now it is spicy like really really spicy.. I have requested a milder version but I think they are ok with what they have. The staff is really friendly, but I’m telling you right now. If you don’t like spicy, do not get the boils. I really thought that I could do it and I can’t. I couldn’t eat most of it but my husband sure did finish it. Like I said that’s good if they get a Mauser version on the menu, I will come back there reasonably priced friendly staff would recommend at 100%..

Ok, so my gumbo was a) watery-bad roux b)no flavor. No spice, no flavor. I grew up on Cajun food my whole life in Houston with Louisiana friends cooking me some of the best gumbo in the world…. However what I will say was amazing about this place is the characters that came in here. I saw it inside for a little over an hour and talked to you about six different people. Some wonderful elderly people all had amazing stories. One knew my family from 40 years ago back in South Texas. I really want to like the food, but the owner needs to realize that that is not gumbo.

I used to love this place. The flavor, the spice, perfect. Last time I picked up 3 pounds of the boiled crawfish, it was very disappointing. All small. I’m used to getting an assortment of large and small, but then I got a piece of plastic with my bag. So very disappointing. I won’t be back. Oh, and then they blocked me. Run…go somewhere else.

Great crawfish! Great fish! My wife loves crawfish, I’m happy to stick with fish, crab, and shrimp lol. OMG staff are always friendly & helpful; the restaurant is always clean. The food is tasty. I only wish they did boiled shrimp along with the fried. We highly recommend them and will continue to come!

My daughter loves crawfish or how you say it ( Mudbugs ) from OMG. I have two daughters that were born in Louisiana. So they grew up eating crawfish. Not me!! Sorry to say. Lol!! But I do love eating the corn, sausage and mushrooms that they put in the crawfish boil. OMG really do have the best Cajun seafood in town

The staff was friendly and entertaining, the food hot and very good. The loop music they play cost them a star cause the music loop sucks. But the food and the staff are top notch when your in San Marcos craving some seafood boil! Or some mudbugs come on into OMG seafood for a treat…. Just bring head phones or the music loop will drive you crazy… hopefully the owners read this and realize how terrible the music loop is and do away with it.
