I recently visited a Shawarma restaurant and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Despite the scorching heat outside, there was no air conditioner or fan available inside, making the environment even more unbearable due to the ongoing cooking activities. The food quality was decent, but the prices were exorbitant considering the overall experience.

Quality, flavorful Mediterranean with fresh sides and main dishes. Super fast service with a good vibe. Omar’s doesn’t skimp on anything, and they use all of the classic seasonings and ingredients needed to impart a full Mediterranean experience into their dishes. I would definitely go out of my way to come here if I was hankering for some shawarma!

Had a great lunch here. The food is flavorful, nicely cooked, and beautifully prepared. The chicken shawarma has a great combination of spices, and the eggplant is amazing! The service was friendly and prompt with ample soft pita provided.

I was in the area for an event, (restaurant is 3 blocks from 34th ST) and my son and I had dinner here. The food was incredible! Food was flavorful, fresh, a good portion and well prepared. I’ve tried food in several Mediterranean restaurants, and this one tops the list as of this visit. The place is elegant, immaculately clean, and the staff is courteous and provided top notch service. If i could rate 10 stars, I would have. I cannot wait to be in the city again, as I will make sure to visit this establishment for lunch or dinner!!!

Stopped here to get a late lunch. The Chicken Shawarma platter with Mediterranean rice and Hummus was just enough food. Service was great and the food was even better. Highly recommend stopping here if you’re near Grand Central and craving Mediterranean.

We went here for lunch on Monday to meet up with a friend who recommended this place! I have to say it was SOOOOO GOOOOD!!! We live on Long Island so was not familiar with this place but was SOOOO HAPPY to have found it!! My hunnnies and I got the mix grill (DELISH) and the Greek salad (THE BEST!!)~ I only wish I could find a salad like this on Long Island (Woodbury, to be exact…hint, hint…LOL). DEF RECOMMEND you try if you want low key and DELISH FOOD!! The only downside was that they don’t serve alcohol, so it was a “dry” lunch…LOL!! ~~but still DELISH!!
