Their food is delicious. It’s filling and healthy. We got the shish kebab and the burger ( forgot what it was called). It was delicious. I asked for a small side of hummus but they gave me a bigger container. We also had the fries, pickled veggies and some garlic sauce. The hummus is an awesome dip for the fries and a dressing for the meat and salad. Definitely recommend them.

I wanted to love it the way I remember loving the falafels and the lamb schwarma sandwiches I used to get in the Boston area, so exotic and always nice and fatty, decadent, concentrated flavor.

I almost didn’t rate them a 5. Only because I’ve had issues with them being open. First time was on a Saturday. The good thing was I found Akashic (Review coming). That aside, I really wanted to eat here. Today I was finally able to. I had a lamb/beef shawarma pita and my wife a chicken pita. They were both amazing. Interesting but good french fries. Key to knowing if they’ll be open is to check their website. You have to click an “Order Now” link. Shows the complete menu with pictures. If things say out of stock you’ll know they’re closed. I ordered online and it was super quick. Our food was ready at the time the website estimated. I recommend heading to this food truck corner.

This place could put ten times the amount of salt on their food and it still wouldn’t be enough. They also charge for sauces that should just come with their food. In fact the pictures of the Olympita chips has suace on it but mine came with none. The ingredients and the way it was cooked seemed fine. Without enough salt or seasoning it’s inedible. If you want to give it a test make sure to have a salt shaker nearby.

Olympita might be my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the Olympia area. The pita is always fresh and perfectly cooked, with soft spongy insides and robust enough to hold a lot of food. Their shawarma is amazing, nicely browned and unctuous meat with all the spices. And the hummus…I can’t even begin to explain how refreshing it is to find hummus this good. Perfectly smooth, delicate flavor, not overpowered by any one element. And with shawarma on top: phenomenal. The kebabs are perfectly cooked, with a serious char on the outside but juicy and tender meat on the inside, a hint of spice and a big hit of lemon. It’s also the attention to detail that I love here: the presentation of the hummus, the spices they toss the onions in, and the perfectly diced veggies for the salad. Even the fries are all perfectly fried to golden brown and crisp, a feat that requires a lot of skill and attention. I have yet to try the falafel, but I have high hopes! My one suggestion would be a bit more salt on everything: the flavors speak for themselves, but a bit more salt could kick everything up just a bit more. The high quality of all the ingredients is apparent though; they source the meat locally and the veggies always taste amazing! I can’t wait to come back here and eat more. It’s well worth it!

Their food truck is very, very good. A pound of super delicious incredibly hot no ketchup need fries which stay hot forever, large warm no topping needed delicious flat bread pieces for cheap. Fries were $6.00/lb and $4.00/ a half pound. And they specialize in lamb and beef preparations. Guy that works there is great just like the Parkside restaurant it is in the picnic table location of.

Don’t sleep on Olympita! I regret not trying them sooner. I got the falafel wrap and it was sooo good. I’ve been craving it ever since I tried it. I will happily come here again and order 10 more haha. Definitely the best falafel wrap I’ve ever had

Im a huge Baklava fan and dropped by to try a piece for dessert. Was close to $5 per piece. I’d gladly pay that for a quality piece that’s an average size. Unfortunately, the portion was about 1/4 the size of a slice of bread, can literally finish it in two normal bites. That’s 1st strike.

Delicious fries and garlic sauce. A little spendy but so is everything. Shawarma didn’t disappoint either. Overall good spot.

This place is easy to find, access, and exit…if you’re walking. Finding a parking spot will be your biggest challenge, but there’s almost always one within three or four blocks (100-200 yards).
