It was a bit of a wait for our reservation but it’s also brand new so we expected that. Cocktails and bartender were on point! We opted for the Village Table because how could you not?! So much food. The bread, spreads and mezze were fabulous. The skewers were not my favorite, a bit bland, a bit overall overcooked. The roasted cauliflower was hands down one of the best veg sides I’ve ever had. Elizabeth was a super knowledgeable, attentive and enthusiastic waitress! Would eat here again for sure.

Beautiful space, gorgeous views. However bar team was super slammed and restaurant wasn’t even open yet. When we finally got their attention no warm welcome was had, not even a menu, cocktail list or basic “hello” was offered. Spoke to a manager named Ricky. He was aloof and dismissive. A fellow patron that overheard my conversation said to me, “the manager is very rude, he wouldn’t even give up his seat at the bar for an elderly woman, he sat there with all his paperwork during happy hour and wouldn’t move.” It was startling experience to have a manager of a new restaurant completely lack any host skills or even basic kindness.

Amazing views and great food! We really enjoyed Olive & Sea and have already been 3 times since it opened. The branzino, octopus, halloumi pizza and hamachi crudo were all delicious. The staff is very friendly and the manager Rikki is great and made us feel so welcomed. They also have a great happy hour that’s half off cocktails/drinks and small bites. We live down the street so this will definitely be a regular spot for us. We’re very happy Olive & Sea opened!

The food, ambiance and service were all perfection. Everything from the hummus and baba ghanoush to the flatbread and skewers to the branzino was delicious. And make sure to save room for dessert – I had never heard of tahini ice cream, but it’s my new favorite. 🙂 And of course the Intracoastal views can’t be beat! This is a much-needed addition to the Fort Lauderdale dining scene – I will definitely be back.
