We had a really great dinner here tonight. My niece and I stopped in around 5pm. She had the Alfredo and I had the 6oz sirloin. All our food was perfectly prepared. The Caesar dressing was outstanding! She’s a 9 year old picky eater and gave it a 10/10. Staff was exceptional. Thank you for a great experience on our girls day.

Amazing food and service. This is for sure 5/5. They have pretty good specials throughout the week and also have some limited outside seating. The steak is some of the best I’ve had! The wait time is a little higher but it’s understandable as it’s one of the only nice sit down places to eat in Connersville.

Lived in town for a year before coming here and boy do I regret waiting. Staff was super friendly. Not just polite, but friendly. The menu is relatively small, but everything we tried was really tasty and prepared well. Decided to come back with a big group for their Saturday brunch and wasn’t disappointed. They deliver a plate of house made “doughnuts” to each table (complimentary) and they’re delicious! Our group had young kids, teenagers, twenty somethings and thirty somethings, picky and easygoing and EVERYONE left happy. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Went to the Ole Roost for our first wedding anniversary dinner. My first time here personally, as I’m from Cincinnati. My husband has been here before. We both got steak with a side and paid extra for a second side. I expected my sweet potato soufflé and roll to be hot but they were cold. Steak and salad were good. Should definitely work on getting food out hot to customers.

Beautiful decor. Feels very much like a home atmosphere. For the number of people waiting to be seated, the wait time was very minimal. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The food tasted ok but neither in my party were very impressed with the quality of the food. The burger was a frozen GFS style pattie but the options for toppings were expansive. You get a choice of fries, tator tots, or coleslaw with a burger. One in my party opted to pay 1.75 extra for onion rings and was served 4 rather small onion rings. Definitely not worth the upcharge. The friendliness of the wait staff made up for the lack in food quality.

Nicely restored restaurant. This is at least the 5th place in this old Bob Evans. The country decor is clean and uncluttered in a less is more fashion.

Everything we ordered was carefully made with freshest ingredients. I think they even super freeze ice cream…is so good with the Black Berry cobbler! All food is GREAT there!

Great restaurant, excellent quality food and plating and a nice dining room, especially considering the relatively low price points. I got the broccoli cheddar soup and a sirloin steak and both were really excellent. I would go back without thinking twice.

The food was really good and the inside of the place was really clean and I inviting. Definitely would love to come back and eat again if in the area.
