Ordered the Camarones bowl and was throughly satisfied ! The shrimp were big and the beans, rice , peppers and onions made it a very filling bowl. The plantains were so good and sweet. Would come back and try more. Quick service as well

I visited Olé Cuban Kitchen after a workout at MADabolic on Thursday. They are in Krog Street where the old Papi’s used to be located. Initially, I was going to get the shrimp bowl, but opted for the shrimp wrap with rice and beans. I really enjoyed the shrimp wrap along with the garlic aioli sauce. It said it came with lettuce, tomatoes, and grilled onions, but mine only had lettuce and grilled onions. I ended up taking the lettuce out because it was so soggy from the sauce. The side of rice and beans were very bland and lacked seasoning. They were not good at all and I did not eat them. Olé also adds an automatic 5% gratuity, which they do not state anywhere, so I was surprised to see it on my final receipt, especially since I added gratuity. That is something they should at least mention. Overall, it was decent and I’d be willing to go back and just try a different side.

Told owner Im giving 5 bc it was surprisingly flavorful! Polite service & reasonable wait time. I ordered the Cuban Salchipapa (pic below) I added sum chipotle aioli from chicken sandwich AFTER verfied it was good as ordered. Requested hot sauce on side…right amt of heat & flavorful.I tasted the Chicken Sandwich (I forgot to tke pic ) BOTH were flavorful! Nxt time I’ll order xtra aioli on Cuban Salchipapa & request my pork belly b seared crisper. Hopefully my 2nd trip will prove consistency in flavor…Ill update whn I do

Stopped by for lunch. Ordered on a touch screen and didn’t interact with a single worker until the food was ready, While waiting 15 min for the food, noticed on the receipt that an automatic 18% tip was added!! When we attempted to ask the worker about it, she acted like she didn’t understand what we were asking about. The bowl was delicious but the added tip for ordering on a screen is disappointing!

The food was so amazing! It was so fresh and so much for the price, looks just like the pictures. We had the steak bowl and steak wrap. Saul was a great server/host/employee. We will be back soon!!!!

There’s no Cubans maki by the “Cuban” food. As soon as a saw the horchata I knew something wasn’t right but I have them a chance anyway. Ordered some rice bowls. That was NOT Cuban food. That was Mexican food. And if I wanted Mexican food I would’ve gone to a Mexican restaurant. I’m so mad I wasted my money on that place.

**As other reviews mention: the employees here are adding gratuity without asking or notifying the patrons.**

Ordered the Tres Leches cake and it tasted very bland. Not to mention it was very dry. In my honest opinion it wasn’t worth the $6 I paid for this thin slice of cake.

Have been coming here often throughout the last year and the lechon asado bowl is my absolute favorite. Went there today and Saul was at the front today and we had a pleasant conversation while I waited for my food. Just thought that needed some acknowledgment as I will forever come back here even when I no longer live in the area.
