Horrible. Overall the worst BBQ experience I’ve ever had. Picked up several BBQ plates for a family dinner, mine was this pork BBQ plate. They were out of almost all their veggies, and only had one baked potato remaining, despite being not even close to closing. The macaroni and cheese was without a doubt the worst I’ve ever seen, it was entirely mushy and actually smelled rotten. While the BBQ itself was actually alright, I would never come back.

We have eaten here many times. Today the place was empty but we had to wait to be seated. We waited and looked at the menu. When another customer came in they took them straight back to a table. We now recommend The Smoke Pit in Gastonia.

Exactly what we like in a barbecue place. Great service! I’d never tried Brunswick Stew and loved it! French fries cooked to order perfectly. And try their hush puppies, too!

Called my order in just to get there 20 minutes later and not be greeted, just stared at. The lady in front of me that ordered her food actually got her food before me. Then they proceed to tell me they are out of sweet potato casserole so I asked for sweet potato which is an up charge. I mention the up charge and the lady lies and says sweet potato casserole is the same price.They definitely give racist vibes here and the food isn’t even that good. The only thing that’s good is the sweet potato casserole.

Love this place. They are very polite, respectful, and put the customers first. I love the ribs, sweet potato casserole, and hush puppies. They even have sports playing on tv.

Enjoyed a great lunch here. Just a simple BBQ Beef sandwich with fried okra and baked beans as the sides. My partner had fried chicken tenders along W Mac N Cheese and sweet potato casserole. The sandwich and BBQ slaw on the side were very good. The sides were excellent. From the sweet potato casserole, Mac N Cheese, fried okra and baked beans, all were extremely well done. Will return to try their array of other dishes because I now know they take pride in their sides, so I know they take pride in their meats.

Usually they are friendly people but today I place my order asked how much it was they couldn’t tell me got there. My order was not donethey still cannot tell me how much my order was and the little girl got a smart mouth with me and I walked out. Please do something about you all’s customer service. This needs to be stopped immediately.

Very disappointed went there expecting real NC bbq, not even close, actually very bland, they served it with bbq sauce which accounted for all the flavor, sandwich could not stand on it own. Do not recommend and it’s ashame staff extremely nice and fast.
