This place was a huge WOW! It’s August so the weather is nasty! And the staff brought us ice water while we waited in line. Super sweet! Then we make it inside and the service was great! We got drink right away (super plus) then we received great food recommendations and ended up with the cat fish platter, crab cakes with mushroom sauce and the blacked chicken po’boy AND everything with delicious! We loved the cat fish so much we want to fit this place in again during our week stay! The staff through out the night was very good with coming by and checking on us! I don’t know about the rest of the restaurants on this strip but this one was amazing and highly recommend!!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The music was VERY loud and bothersome. The kids meals are very overpriced and not good at all. The Cajun fries and shrimp platter were very fresh and tasted great. The gumbo however left more to be desired as well as the redfish & crawfish étouffée, edible, but not something I’d go out of my way for. The gator bites and the sauce they came with were the star of the show. Incredibly fresh and flavorful.

We visited the Olde Nola Cookery on Bourbon Street for dinner on 7/6 in New Orleans, LA. We made reservations the day before online and they were able to accommodate our family group of 13 appropriately on the 2nd floor at a large table. This was our favorite meal on the whole 2 week vacation. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone that visits the New Orleans area!

Sooo, on Bourbon Street we stopped in for a bite headed back to our hotel. Do yourself a favor and just order the Cajun fries w/ fried crawfish tails! THE BEST! Hubby had the red beans and rice with sausage and it was great also. Very nice spot, great service and quick getting the food out. Definitely a plus we got a free desert for checking in on Yelp! Bread pudding was very good.

The food in Bourbon Street, New Orleans is amazing, but the best Cajun pasta stands out among the rest. I highly recommend trying it out. The texture of the pasta is perfect, and the sauce has just the right amount of spice to give it that authentic Cajun flavor. The service is also impeccable, and the ambiance of the restaurant is just what you’d expect from a place in one of the liveliest streets in the world. If you’re a foodie or just looking for a fantastic meal in New Orleans, this is the place to go!

Christine was the sweetest waitress ever, gave us the best recommendations and was quick with what we needed. Jarvis is the silliest nicest guy, with a great sense of humor and quick with service. The gator bites are definitely best if you get them blackened, and squeeze that lemon on top. Get the Taste of New Orleans for SURE with the fried crayfish on top.

After going to Oceana’s, the sister restaurant, and absolutely loving it – this was a let down. My house salad was blah for 6.50 (see pic), the fried fish and fried oysters were fishy – as in not fresh. The service was good. I was underwhelmed and sad because we raved to friends about Oceana’s and now they don’t want to go because to them it may be the same experience.

The music could have been turned down. It’s a restaurant, not a club so we had to yell at each other all through dinner. Asked for unsweetened tea but both times it came out sweet so waitress chalked it up to both containers being sweet and got water instead. Now for the food. Oh. My. God. Best collards ever. Food was stellar. Had the fries with ettouffee and flounder special, chicken pasta and jambalaya pasta. So. So. Good.
