The only thing I didnt like was the salad. Which let’s be honest not many salads are something to write home about. But DEAR LORD BABY JESUS that chicken & noodle soup was the best thing in life!

Excellent food! Great service. Schnitzel was delicious. Everything tasted authentic German cuisine. The sirloin was cooked to perfection. Recommend the french fries. We tried both chicken noodle soup and the bean soup. Both were homemade and great. Recommend going here.

German food very good and very authentic! Unlimited soup & salad very filling. New England clam chowder tasty. Portions are GIGANTIC! Pay the $2 to share a plate. Everyone extremely friendly! First time in Floral City. Won’t be the last time we come to Old World!

Very nice old world atmosphere with good food. Their soups are quite good and salads are fresh. I had the sirloin steak and my wife had the cod loins. Both very good. We enjoy coming here, where you can carry on a conversation without the background noise you often get in many of those chain restaurants.

Second time here in Aug of 2020. As usual they bring out a HUGE MEAL. Bread, soup, salad and the main entree. Trust me skip the bread or you will never eat the entree. The Kilbasa/Knockwurst with the pork chop is out of this world. You can also have sauerkraut or spietzel? New to me. Great service, wonderful food.

My husband took his step mom and I there for our birthday. Soon as we walked in there was a very unpleasant smell. We were seated at a nice table. Waitress was nice. Soups weren’t very hot. Just very warm. We got there when they first opened at 3 pm. Tried the 1000 island dressing. Very bland. They had schnitzel which was bland and very thin and taste less. Cabbage rolls were not very good. Tasted like it came out of hot water. When we said it was our birthday. No dessert was offered. No jello,pie or cake. Went her because of the great reviews. Those people had to have been drinking. never again will I go back there.

American in on Saturday night, a party of about 14 people were in dining area we were seated in. Wait staff looked frazzled. They were so loud, we could not even talk. No one should have been seated in that room besides them. There were 4 of us.

Fantastic food, and wonderful owners. Olympia and Danny are the sweetest! Love them and this cozy family restaurant. Never been disappointed! This is by far the BEST place to eat in Floral City. They have excellent pricing for what you get. You can’t go wrong with Specialty items like schnitzel, duck, steaks, seafood and more. All entrees are served with homemade soup (at the endless SOUP AND BREAD BAR always two kinds of soups) , choice of salad, choice of potato, and bread and butter. Yeah. It’s ALOT of food, so don’t fill up on the soup bar!!!
