We went to the Old Vinings Inn at 11:40 AM on a Sunday and sat right down without a wait. The service was stellar and the food was on another level. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it was probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. The fries were also great. Drinks were topped off constantly and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely will be going back here soon!

On a Wednesday, we came here for dinner for the first time. The service was excellent and it wasn’t too crowded so our food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the beet salad, good but pretty small portion. The dinner bread they serve are basically rolls you can buy in any freezer section in a grocery store. BUT, I have to say that both entrees we ordered were the most delicious and satisfying dish that we’ve had in a long time! My husband had the fried chicken that came with creamy grits and tender veggies. And I had the pleasure of having the most buttery and crispy pecan-crusted trout ever with the best mashed potatoes. As you can see our plates were wiped clean, and we were so full we didn’t even feel like desert. I will be back again! Gave 5 stars but hope they decide to change the bread service to house-made.

I (me in ctr) celebrated my bday with frds and had brunch! Food was scrumptious and staff was amazing esp Silas our waiter! I like the rich character of this place. Atmosphere of the place reminds me of nostalgic memories of growing up in the south! Don’t chg anything! Of course, frds mentioned it was my birthday and got a choice of free dessert! I chose a brownie a la mode with caramel topping and bacon bits and it was delicious! Was a bit skeptical about the bacon bits with ice cream , but glad I tried it…sooo good!

I attended a special party in the evening. For appetizers, we had the Dip Duo, dish 1 was spinach, artichoke and sundried tomatoes. It was so good, dish 2 was some of the best pimento cheese I have ever had. There was fried calamari with pickled okra. The okra converted some of the Northern guests to a southern delicacy. Salads were all the nutritus types of lettuce with a nice lite dressing. I had grilled salmon, my date had the Fliet Mignon. Both were excellent. The desserts were a flower less chocolate dish sliced like pie wedges and a blueberry crisp. They were great also(kind of partial to the crisp). All in all, everything was just great. The servers were right there to help with any need. It’s definitely a must go for the food, the service and the atmosphere.

Love the attic bar with a friendly and intimate atmosphere and live music that frequently is very good, but need special reservation and $5 surcharge. Wonderful value.

Dinner at Old Vinings was the highlight of my trip to Atlanta! This place exceeded every single one of my expectations. My colleagues and I reserved a table upstairs so that we could be up close and personal with Kayla Taylor (jazz singer) and guitarist Steven J. Moore. To say that the entertainment was phenomenal is a HUGE UNDERSTATEMENT! Kayla and Steve were so engaging. They sang and laughed with the crowd. Rick was the best bartender and server I think I’ve ever had. He was delightful! So knowledgeable about the beverage choices and menu options. Rick was attentive and he deserves an award. He also does a comedy set at Old Vinings. If you’re in the area you definitely need to check him out. He is HILARIOUS! The memories we made here will be cherished for a lifetime!

I hosted a bridal shower on a Saturday afternoon in the Attic Bar area for ~30ish people here and received rave reviews about Old Vinings Inn. Everyone loved the space, great bartenders and food. Lee was great to work with to set up the private event and they were so accommodating to everything we requested, highly recommend for a great spot for a private party.
