Had lunch last Saturday with my wife at RT. 51 BBQ. As always their food and service was on point ☝️. Wife had burnt ends and Mac Cheese both were our standing. I had brisket sandwich and the “secret side”. They side was baked beans with peaches

This place exceeded expectations! We had seen that they received high regards on a Facebook poll so 4 of us went to check it out. One of the top BBQ places I’ve ever had. Burnt ends, pulled pork nachos topped with baked beans, and smoked ghost pepper sausage were all phenomenal. We will certainly be going back. Can’t wait to try the ribs next time. This place is worth making a drive to. Visit area wineries while you’re at it!

The food was amazing! All hand made and the smoker is right by the seating you can taste the love made into this food! Owner was super nice and even let us sample some other Items. I had the pulled pork it was so amazing it didn’t even need sauce! But the sauce was also amazing! Will come back anytime in the area! Would recommend anyone traveling through stops for a bit and the pleasant conversation.

This place is absolutely fantastic! We live in South Carolina and are staying in Giant City State Park for the week. Needed a lunch spot and after reading the reviews, we knew this was the place to go! We had the Smoked Chicken sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, and coleslaw and all were the best we’ve ever had. Don, the owner, came to chat and tell us his story. Great guy and we enjoyed getting to know him. He brought over a Mac and cheese and burnt ends for us to try and WOW were they good! We will definitely be back next time we are in the area. Go try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed!!

Decided to try this place on our way out of Anna due to such high star reviews and they were not wrong! The juiciest and most tender burnt ends I’ve ever had and some delicious pulled pork nachos.

THE BEST BBQ in Southern Illinois! I’m from Texas originally, so I know a thing or two about bbq. Not only is this bbq great, the owner actually comes out, talks to you, and makes sure you’re doing OK. I love how you eat outside and they play music. I will be back and I will recommend this place to everyone.

We got 3 lbs of pulled pork, and it was Excellent! Everyone including the kids said how good it was. Could have eaten it without the BBQ sauce, but the sauce was very good too if you’re a sweet sauce person. I don’t usually leave reviews, but best BBQ around that I’ve had in a long time.

It is a 2 hour drive for us to go here and this is by far the best BBQ. Brisket, Turkey, Ribs, Pork Steak, Bison burger are all top notch!!!!! Sides are awesome especially the baked beans and Mac and cheese. Don the owner makes everything fresh and if something isn’t up to par he won’t serve it! Great customer service and a top notch place to go!
