Great breakfast–you must try the sweet potato pancakes! We went out for breakfast there with our twin boys (who are 14 months) while on vacation. They were so nice making sure we had a table with plenty of room for two highchairs. We ordered a couple scrambled eggs for them and they even brought over some cute plastic plates for their food. A fantastic local spot!

A solid breakfast spot! They have several options and a buffet open as well till 2pm. We were a large group and called beforehand to make sure they had space for us. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful, with good suggestions as well.

Great food, great service. We had a Oriental salad and Country Fried Steak sandwich. Both were delicious.

While checking out Smith Mountain Lake, me and my wife ate breakfast 2 days in a row at Old Oak Cafe, and both days were great experiences. Food was great. Service was phenomenal. This place has a small town feel, and was a great way to kick off the day. If you’re in the area, I would highly recommend you give this place a try.

We went for breakfast/brunch on a Sunday, and due to the busyness and our time constraints, we opted for the buffet. It was one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever had! Simple, abundant, hot, fresh breakfast food. I had scramble eggs, cooked apples, bacon, breakfast potatoes, and a biscuit. Sausage and ham were also available. They’re busy on Sundays, so call ahead if you have a large group.

This place came highly recommended on Facebook for delicious food and service. The wait time on a Sunday was only 10 minutes, but that was the highlight of the experience. Food was little to be desired, the service was slow, the price for the food was extremely high. I am a local to the area and wished for a better experience.

Went in by myself. The nice lady at the door ask was I alone. I told her yes. She said don’t worry we are all friends here. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome. She was working the floor by her self. She did an excellent job. The food was great as always. And it always feels like home
