Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. I felt like I was transported to Bravaria. The staff was dressed in traditional German. I highly recommend this place.

I use to eat here when it was only big enough for 20 people. They’ve expanded many times. The food hasn’t changed much. Still old fashion good stuff. House dressing is awesome and the portions are enough for a dinner and a left over lunch. The service can be slow when they’re busy so enjoy more beer!

UPDATE – 07/19/2019 – PERMANENTLY CLOSED. I held off on posting this in hopes that another miracle would happen and resurrect them once more. After 3 months, all hope is lost. Old Germany Restaurant, you are greatly missed.

Old Germany is a long-time favorite of mine, so I was incredibly pleased that they reopened after their brief shut down. The food and beer are still excellent (I highly recommend the schnitzel) and the service is top notch. My only criticism is that it’s gone from a quiet, cozy place for dinner to a bit of a raucous, open tavern feel, where the general noise makes it somewhat difficult to have a conversation. Still definitely worth a visit, but I hope the quiet dining area makes a return in the future.
