They’re now open for breakfast at 6am. Initially, the cashier did not smile at me but over the course of our interaction, she did. She’s a little shy with English speakers, but she is nice. I got a colada. Yummy!

Such a cute place. This was my first time having Cuban food, so I got the skirt steak, Cuban rice and fried yuca, and my friend got salmon, rice and beans and boiled yuca with mojo sauce. It was so delicious and flavorful, and the portions were really big so we had to get boxes by the end. Our server Gabriela was so sweet and let us know all our options before ordering exactly what we wanted! We ordered coffee, of course, and it was very strong without being too acidic. I wish I had gotten a large 🙂

ordered 3 separate pork shoulders for a party $90 + tax.. gave them the receipt and they gave me the order. drove 1 hour to get to the party and find that they only gave me 1 order. the manager said they couldn’t deliver and offered refund. they don’t know how to refund back to the card so I had to drive 2 hours round trip to get the refund in cash which I had to ask for refund in tax as well coz they weren’t doing that.. we’ve ordered 3x for parties and this was the last time.

If I didn’t live so far I’d be here everyday. Cuban latte with sugar. It’s the perfect balance of sweetness and rich expresso. Empanadas are full of meat and not air. I will return for entrees and definitely coffee…
