The alliance location is awesome and somehow kind of a hidden gem? There’s never many people inside and the staff is always nice. Food is always delicious and when i get carry out it’s ready when i get there. No complaints for years.

I will preface this by saying I have a food allergy…but all that it consists of is no cornbread in my meal. No big deal, it’s like saying please give me less food for the same amount of money. Good deal for everyone, you would think. Twice now (and a different crew each time, so it’s not just one person that’s a problem), I’ve gone in there, both times I made orders of over $80, and both times I left without any food at all and a refund. I waited over 30 minutes both times, and it was sent out with bread both times. Because of the allergy it can’t just be taken out. They offered to remake it, but it would be another half hour each time, which is insane. So I collected my refunds and left. I would think very hard about going here, as I can recommend avoiding it enough.

I ordered online to pick up. Estimated time was 16 minutes. We arrived at the drive through around 10 minutes. Once we received our food I asked if there was silverware and napkins. The worker said I think so. My fault for not checking because there wasn’t any. I took it to a park for a picnic. Missing hush puppies. Food was stone cold. The park is less than 2 miles away so it isn’t like we drove a long time before eating. Brisket was salty, but the Mac n cheese had no flavor at all. Try eating shedded brisket and mac n cheese with no fork. Unless you’re eating there to make sure food is decent I do not recommend.

Very Disappointed! Got carry out, ordered the Outlaw. I used 2 gift cards which they said expired. I explained that gift cards do not expire. They ran them again and they were valid. The brisket had many pieces that were all fat. (See picture) Never should have been served. The (so called butter) was melted. (See Picture). They were out of creamy coleslaw & Mac & cheese. Asked what sides they had,, was told they only had vinegar coleslaw & fries for sides. I asked for fresh fries which they did provide with no questions. We won’t be back for awhile.

Good BBQ, great prices, quick and friendly service will not leave you disappointed. Come hungry or take a box home, because these portions are huge. The sides are great. I had the baked beans, mashed potatoes and banana pudding. The dish included 1/3 rack ribs, brisket and cornbread. 4 stars since I’m comparing to Austin BBQ, which in my opinion is the gold standard.

Bought chicken sandwich and chicken tenders. And this is what I got. For both. This is the worst one! My kids couldn’t eat the tenders I couldn’t eat the “sandwich”. It tasted like a dirty grill. No seasoning flavors just mega liquid smoke! And it was horrible!

I would give this location 0 stars. My fiance has Celiac and could eat here if they don’t put the bread in. He asked twice to double check and they still put the bread. We can’t come back here because we can’t trust they will follow directions.

I ordered two brisket dinners, and informed at counter that Old Caolina was out of brisket. Counter person suggested chopped brisket. The chopped brisket appeared to be the unpresentable pieces of brisket that were trimmed from brisket slices. Way over cooked mush. I reported this to Old Carolina corporate with no response.
