First time here was great! We were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. Excellent food and place! I love the rock wall. Will definitely be back again.

Decided to stop by for lunch and was not disappointed. We had the fried mushrooms and bacon cheddar chive tater kegs. Mushrooms were delicious but the kegs were a must have every time. For our mains had a bacon and cheese Barney burger with fries along with the pickle o’burger both were delicious and filling. The only thing we weren’t a fan of was the side of green beans besides that our lunch was delicious.

Excellent lunch specials. Friendly service. Cozy atmosphere. Great salads, burgers, appetizers, and prices. Update: try the Barney Royale or the Tenderloin Sandwich! You won’t be disappointed. I try something new each time and I’m never disappointed.

First time here and was definitely impressed. Not overly crowded, but consistently busy. They handled it all well, ensuring everyone was taken care of. I had the burger with fried pickles and tator tots, but stole some of my mom’s fries. That’ll be next trip for sure. Their fries were amazing. We also found out they have daily specials. Today was taco salad, so I guess I’ll be going back next Tuesday to try that. I can’t wait. I’ll try to take pictures next time. I devoured my burger before thinking of it.

Called in a take out order and was told it would take 45 minutes. Showed up shortly after that time, got back home, and noticed our food was cold. They were a little skimpy on the onion tanglers as well. The two ladies behind the counter were very friendly, so I’d assume we’d have a much better experience when dining in if we decide to give it another shot. Although not necessary, my suggestion would be to update the website with latest menu. One of the items we tried to order had been changed for a couple years. Obviously no impact to the reoccurring customers but as a first time customer, the original recipe for the Barney’s burger that used to include a pork shoulder, now a slice of ham, seemed way more interesting than what it is now.

The food here is great (try the tater kegs!) and the service is usually spot on. I gave 4 stars to atmosphere only because it’s a bar with televisions, so it can get a little loud if you’re wanting to talk, and a lot of locals appreciate this gem, so when you walk in, it can feel a little like trespassing at first, haha, but the staff is fantastic and you won’t feel unwelcome. They also don’t have a kids’ menu, for those wanting to dine with their kids, but they are very accommodating and adjusted their grilled cheese so my youngest would eat it, haha. This is a bar with really good food, so if you’re expecting fine dining, you’ll be disappointed, but we love the bar food at Old Barney’s!
