My guy and I went at 8:30pm on a Saturday night and was seated right away. This place is wonderful and intimate, perfect date spot or really great catch up time when a friend. The dim lighting set the mood and the music selection was excellent, the best I’ve ever heard at a restaurant to be honest.

I have been here twice now. Both during brunch service. I have ordered the avocado toast which was a well balanced flavor combination of creamy, salty, and cheesy. Like a party in my mouth and not too heavy for early morning but enough to help soak up the DELICIOUS mimosas which they offer for just $5 dollars on brunch happy hour. The second dish I’ve tried is the wild mushroom gnocchi with Milanese chicken added. Absolutely divine. I’m in heaven. Fried calamari cooked and season well diddnt need the dipping sauce. The arancini was so cheesy. I had never had this before and definitely would get again. The penne alla checca was nice dish very light for pasta. My cousin had the shrimp and crab rose, which he enjoyed. Only issue nothing came out hot

Came here for a couple of appetizers and cocktails. The cocktails were delicious. Got the mescal based one, and the one that had the chocolate finish. Both great. The arincinis seemed more like mozzarella stick balls to me, but tasted great nonetheless on top of the bolognese. The mozzarella bread was your normal cheese bread. Overall the food was good, the drinks were great, the service was amazing. Great team there.

Came in around 3pm was sat right away. The server was very kind and had great recommendations. We got the food after 10 minutes and overall the food was great. I would maybe skip the lasagne it was a bit over cooked and way too much cheese but everything else was great! It was also incredible affordable!

The food is really tasty and delicious, not to mention the portion is more than for one person! The vibe and atmosphere is good. The location is pretty and good at the heart of old downtown Bethesda! Above them all it is one of the few places that I see after pandemic they haven’t increased their prices! Highly recommend the place!

A great local spot for cocktails, Italian food, and people watching on the Streetery. This has long been our local hangout thanks to the excellent staff — bartenders Emma and Abby are amazing. All of the staff, from the hosts up to management, have been consistently welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. In what feels like a more and more corporate Bethesda, locally-owned treasures like Olazzo need to be preserved. Go hit up their happy hour and ask Emma or Abby for a TNT!

Olazzo was one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever had this side of the Atlantic! It is way better than “your average red sauce Italian” My wife had the Gnocchi and it must have been handmade fresh because it was outstanding!
