I really enjoyed this spot for thier taquitos and crispy tacos, salsa was amazing too. We will definitely come back. The staff was super friendly. If your looking for a crispy taco spot, this is it. My favorite so for in Ventura County hands down.

This casual taco place has amazing Mexican food, especially the salsa! It’s a great place to go for casual atmosphere with a flair – a lot to look at, most surf videos, and old boards hing up around the place. Good prices and friendly staff. Sometimes, they give out surf stickers too. Clean restrooms, ample parking in back and handicap accessible.

Food is absolutely amazing!!! But the place needs deep cleaning, from the bathroom to the stuff on the walls … I suggest eat outside so your eyes don’t see the dusty stuff around you. It’s too bad… cz I also liked the music they played!!!

Great spot with great food. Reminds me of good home style fresh cooked food. Carlos and his family are awesome. My family and I been coming here for years now. Cool surf vibes & decor memorabilia all though out the restaurant. Large selection of Mexican food options and drinks. I definitely recommend stopping in if you’re hungry and are wanting some great Mexican food for great prices. The ground beef chimichanga is my personal favorite and the shrimp tacos. Carne asada quesadillas are bomb here and the guacamole is some of the best around. Great green tomatillo salsa too, 10/10.

Having lived in Northern California & now Washington state, I would often see questions asked about good Mexican food, “like So Cal has”. I now know what they’re referring to. I would often ask how a fish taco can be screwed up because I’ve had too many do it. This was delicious, unfussy food & friendly service.

**BEWARE** if you’re disabled with a service animal you are NOT WELCOME inside here. They are putting blame on the health department for this reason. Don’t even bother because of the discrimination for us with disabilities. Also if the health department even saw what their bathroom/office/changing room looked like.. I’m sure they would be shaking their heads. They were skimpy on the shrimp that were in the shrimp tacos.
