Quality and variety of the fish is amazing here. Also, do not miss out on the drinks; each one is unique and perfectly made. A bit on the pricier side, but for what you are getting you’ll have to make the trek into the city for any close comparison. Service was very attentive.

A fantastic Japanese inspired Brian Lewis restaurant! Great food and drinks in a comfortable environment. The sushi is fresh and flavorful with a great variety to choose from. The tempuras are the lightest and most flavorful I have eaten in a long time. The sakes are terrific as well. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly and accommodating.

I’ve been searching for quality sushi since moving to Connecticut. I came across Oko and came for the 14 dish omakase dinner . This meal was so finely currated . Each server knew every detail of each plate, and every piece I had had delicate yet complex flavors. From the a5 wagu , sea bream, amberjack , otoro and so on. This crew is sourcing the best ingredients. Sure, it’s expensive. The best food usually is . I can see myself becoming a regular here.

I have been to Japan and the food at Oko doesn’t even come close. The sushi is completely forgettable and the tempura is actually hard! I don’t even know how they do that! Our drinks were so late, we ordered food and it came before our drinks! The prices are outrageous for the quality. 4 adults and one 5 year old…over $300!! That’s insane. Instead of focusing on variety, I think they should focus on quality. We aren’t going back.

I went here for my birthday with my boyfriend and it was amazing! First impression with the wait staff was perfect, answered any questions we had and made it an overall pleasant experience. The food was so wonderful with the sushi just melting in your mouth and the tempura batter was absolutely delicious and crispy! Made some of my least liked foods into a delicious treat.

So let me start, the ambience is at the side of the river with good light ambience. If you’re looking for something cheap, go else where. So I had the Red Miso Grilled Octopus and the chef’s selection nigiri for appetizer. The red miso octopus is really great!! I would recommend ordering two. The nigiri however is really overpriced.

I have lived in Westport for a long time. Most of the higher end restaurants are good or very good. OKO is just terrible. I’ve just ordered takeout for the 4-5th time in the past year, (so this is not a review of just one experience).

Delicious food! We went on Valentine’s day and they had flower petals set up on the table with complimentary raspberry drinks! The waiters were very knowledgeable and were very kind and attentive. Food portions were a but small but the combinations of each food were nothing like we’ve tried. I recommend getting their ramen egg (their enhanced version of deviled eggs), the chef’s 3 piece handroll, and uni. Will come back again!

All the food here was unique and delicious. Had a great menu, along with an excellent vibe for dinning. The cocktails & Japanese Whisky were excellent as well. I would of given it 5 stars but the smoke from the kitchen was the only downside to the whole experience. Sometimes uncontrollable i know but you have to account for that.
