Had to get cashiers attention just to be seated. She sat us at a dirty table with the previous customers cup was already there and filled the cup with water as if I was supposed to drink it. Soy sauce made sushi too salty but very good without. My appetizer came in the middle of my meal instead of before. Plum wine was good. I paid and cashier demanded a tip. Must be locally owned. Service wasn’t good enough for a tip. Would order pick up only.

I really enjoy this lil spot. The server is great, she can be a bit opinionated on the food if she feels you are wasting your money, I can’t be mad at it! Anytime she feels someone is ordering literally the same thing in terms of flavor, she let them know.

The Okawa sushi came out delicious and flavorful. Their Miso soup was just perfect, and I highly recommend trying any of their sushi. They had very great portions for plates/combos given the price! I had leftovers to go and left very satisfied. It’s a small spot, but the quaint decor made it feel cozy. My favorite was seeing that they had small fish and one was a clownfish. The service was kind and the time it took to get food was reasonable, since they’re looking to hire a waiter. All in all a very worthwhile spot, especially to relax and enjoy sushi cuisine.

This place is amazing. Unfortunately, I no longer live in the area, so I don’t get to go often. However, when I am back to visit family, I am sure to stop here. The staff is very polite and is willing to answer questions and make recommendations. I have liked everything that I have ordered here, but the Julie Roll is out if this world! This place does not disappoint.
