Great unique burgers flavors! The wagyu patties are so good! The Japanese inspired flavors are so unique and different! Must try!

My wife and I were walking in Downtown Orange, and we walked past the front door of this restaurant. We spoke with Carl, one of the investors/owners. He was telling us about the restaurant and the uniqueness of the menu. We noticed the mochi waffle on the menu, and we decided to try it. Also, their soft opening is today and tomorrow, and everything on the menu was 50% off. The waffle was soft and had a lot of flavor. It is perfect for people that have to eat gluten-free due to health reasons because it is made with rice flour.

The vibrant atmosphere of Ojai caught our eyes when we were taking a stroll in old town, we did not regret giving it a try at all! When we finished our quick meal, my friend said “ this is going to be my go-to places for burgers”

The food was underwhelming- I ordered the Grilled chicken salad, my date ordered the Chief Peak burger and Waggo Fries. The Grilled chicken looked boiled and did not smell fresh (If you see the pictures of the salad on the wall – it looked nothing like the picture – I did not eat it). The Burger had decent flavor and the fries were whelming. The young lady that took our order was extremely indifferent to the customers (not just us). If you asked her where something was (fork or pepper) she would just point and not say a word. And if you had a question about an item on the menu one-word responses where all that she could provide. The best part of the meal was the atmosphere of the outside dining patio. I would have been encouraged to give them another try if the service was better. If the food is underwhelming and the service is overwhelming, I could justify another chance. Not in this case. I hope the management reads this and realizes that I cared enough to provide constructive feedback and perhaps coach the staff.

Incredible! I got the Teriyaki Wagyu Burger and my boyfriend got the Ojai Wagyu Burger, and we shared the Spicy Miso Fries. The burgers were the most delicious burgers I’ve ever had, and the fries were crispy full of spicy powder. My boyfriend loved that they offer $5 beer all day. We will definitely come back and we 100% recommend

Ojai Burger is a marvel. From the karaje chicken (both as a sandwich and an appetizer) to the wagyu burger, this is the evolution of the classic “burger joint” into thoughtful, culinary art. One of the keys is that sauces are rethought into flavors that complement the flavor of this particular meat and bread rather than yet another rehash of McDonalds or In N Out methodology. In short–try it!

Totally enjoyed my time at Ojai Burger. The food was excellent, everything that I tried (Tops Tops burger and spicy miso fries) was excellent. The fries are the perfect crispy thin cut and was layered with the perfect amount of condiments. Besides great food, the service was also top notch, with friendly faces and ensuring that we got our food. I’d definitely recommend for a quick, delicious, bite.

Tasty food! Great flavor to my burger! They have a nice selection of local craft beers… only wish they were served in glass instead of plastic cups!
