Me and my husband went here for the first time. I am Persian and obsessed with koobideh kabob. We got koobideh, tabooli, and lamb biryani. Everything was seriously delicious!! The food was fresh and all the seasonings were on point. And the koobideh was better than all the koobideh I’ve tried in Persian restaurants in US. We got huge portions of everything we ordered!! We had some tea at the end and had with some pastry!

I wish I had a picture of my food! It looked so amazing. I had the Afghani Kabob Platter and will get it again! It came with rice and a salad. The flavors were bold and interesting. It was a little spicy but not overpowering to the rest of the plate. The salad was surprising! The vegetables were grilled and on top of a bed of greens with the house dressing. I cannot wait to go back and will definitely get take out for my family.

The owner is extremely nice. I tried the Afgan chicken and beef kabobs. Both delicious. Grape leaves also yummy. Fresh veggies and rice were on point. Definitely will be going back.

We used to go the 117th location before covid, when we heard there was a new location even closer to us we were beyond excited. It’s been years since we’ve had this food yet it is exactly the same. I can’t think of another restaurant that has stayed consistent in their food and their service for that long and in a new location at that.
