For the price of two plates I would have expected a higher quality food. Especially with all the high reviews. The teriyaki chicken is over cooked and steamed. The short ribs were steamed as well. They dont use an actual fire grill. The flavor is okay. As far as the restaurant itself. It is pretty dirty and hot. I definitely was not impressed by any of the food.

I think this was a bad day. Ordered the ribs w macaroni and rice cost 17 dollars and change. .and a chicken bowl 7 dollars and change..eeeeeeeeeesh…the ribs were sooooo chewy and undercooked. Had no flavor…gross…I picked out a rotten carrot. Uuuuugh…the ribs were overpriced and were horribly prepared. The pic w the meat alone was chewed up and spat out…couldn’t break it down..lol

Yum! The chicken katsu curry was delicious and so satisfying. The katsu is crispy, the curry is flavorful, the Mac salad is the perfect accent. You can ask for the curry on the side if you prefer. Pricing was a great value. Definitely will come back next time I’m craving Hawaiian food.

I’ve visited here numerous times, and will keep coming back. The food here is cooked to perfection and I can pretty much guarantee you won’t leave here hungry. You get hearty portions of food here. Plus the employees have been very courteous and helpful with the various menu items. The place is clean and workers make periodic rounds keeping it clean. It’s a pretty big menu so no doubt you will find something to liking.

Chicken bowl’s rice & veges was good. Chicken was hard like rubber, not easy to chew. Skin still had some hair attached. Cheese Rangoons were soft & good taste in middle only. The rest of Rangoon were very hard & stale. Complained but cashier called cook over. Stated that’s the way they cook. In all honesty this food needs to be cooked with care & love. Not just throw it in the pan & get it done anyway. Don’t plan on returning here.

I did not care for the short ribs as the meat had a chewy texture. Instead, I tried the BBQ beef. The beef was much better, tender and sauced with a mix of sweet and salty. The side of macaroni salad was heavy on the Mayo but quite tasty. I would return for the food. The service workers were nice and friendly.
