I started going to Oh So Sweet when they had their old location and I loved it then and I love it now! The new space is beautiful and so fun! We happened to visit when Joe Gatto was there. The food and sweets are equally amazing. The natural light in the space makes it so warm and happy.

On a recent birthday, my family got me cupcakes from Oh So Sweet by Tiphanie. Specifically, an assortment of March/St. Patrick’s Day themed cupcakes that were on offer at the time. We all enjoyed them – I thought they were visually creative and tasted great! A few days later after the close of the work week, I opted for an early dinner across the street from Oh So Sweet’s new location on 2nd Street. Sitting and eating I had plenty of time to view their new, large storefront location – enough of this pondering occurred that when I’d finished my sandwich, I resolved to stop over for some dessert.

My husband and I stopped in and picked up 2 chocolate cupcakes. They were very fresh! The cake was great but I think my favorite was the icing… it was so smooth! I loved the vibe of the restaurant and am excited to return for some food and cocktails in the near future.

Was originally a very nice place to go but the owner has an ego. Refuses to accept responsibility for anything and chalks it up to “well I’m a small business owner, do you want me to fail?”. You can see her having those tantrums here in the comment section. Cakes by Kay is much better for booking bigger cakes as this owner will try to take advantage of you, price hike, blame in on nothing, and call you evil for not wanting to pay 20 dollars more than you originally agreed

Unfortunately since moving to the new location the food quality has gone down. They also cut so many of the sandwiches (yes I know they added more items but at least make it taste good). The cost has also gone way up. I ordered the hog heaven that came with chips and the best part of my meal was the pickle. The sandwich tasted like little else than the slightly burnt taste of the bacon jam and the chips were not crisp and tasted like grease, no saltiness to be found. Truly sad as they were one of my favorite places to get a sandwich.

In all my 60 years this is the best birthday cake ever. Not only was it beautiful, but the taste was incredible. I don’t know how they did it but it was a marble cake with a ton of frosting and it was so light and airy.
