A “hello” from the two bartenders is always a good sign. AND that is exactly what I experienced upon enterIng. We sat down in the dining area and waited for 7 minutes before being acknowledged. Our table was dirty and I noted only 3 tables with customers (2 or 3 people at each table). I went to the bar to get our own drinks. Dining room service was very slow; cod and shrimp baskets were typical bar food. If you like coleslaw, this place has it! Very good!

This restaurant was recommended by the owner of a hotel in town. Have been here before under previous owners, pretty good food at that time. We were given our drinks pretty quick but as for taking our orders, took a long time and we had to flag the girl down. Seems something was going on outside and everyone had to take a look. We then waited a LONG time to get our food, and actually thought of leaving. We ordered chili, a rib eye sandwich, a chicken wrap and fries. We got our food but no chili. I said forget it, too late! We got it anyway, said “well he already was making it up”. It wasn’t even hot! Food was so so, but steak sandwich very good. Now, this place was not busy so I don’t understand. Please don’t blast the customers as you have done with other reviewers. Take what is written and try to make it better! You are sitting on a goldmine as you are one of the only restaurants open at night, in town. Fabulous location, great views out the windows, on the main road going north.

This place has all my feels… by the water, chill bar-feel but has that bright, fun back dining area when you’ve got your family. Great specials throughout the week, plus they offer a small salad bar, which is one of my favorite things. We ordered 4-meat pizza on thin crust and a dozen grilled wings to go. My 6 yr old age 3 full, adult-size pieces of pizza, INCLUDING the crust. I think my partner ate half (it was a large!). They make it a point to get toppings to the outer edge and they don’t skimp! The wings were cooked well and if we had been able to eat fresh, I’m sure they would have been perfectly crisp, so I’m not mad they weren’t since we had to travel. This will be a regular stop for us in Algoma!

Wings were cooked perfectly, honey BBQ flavor isn’t either, no BBQ flavor nor honey almost a buffalo sauce. Nachos even though it says topped with nacho cheese it was shredded cheese, the chips and everything was cold. Seems like they are trying but man nacho cheese in a bag is cheaper than shredded cheese and would taste better! They give you two small cups of salsa and sour cream for a huge plate, the cup in front was ranch for my wings. Wish it was better it is a beautiful building!

Pizza sauce good, pizza cheese excellent, ordered a thin crust got a thick crust but nobody’s perfect. Friendly service. I wish them much success.

Not a bad thing to say about this place. Clean, friendly & great service. Ordered burgers and couldn’t believe the good price & how good the burger was.. Also fries were delicious! Excellent to say the least!

Fried foods tasted great! Burgers need some serious adjustment. The bar looks great! Clean restroom!

Friends I was eating out with, Ordered burgers. Got burgers…. no fries, no sides, nothing. Just burgers. Little disappointed normally you get at least some chips and a pickle or something for a side dish. The burgers were good and the Taco bar was good. Not worth the money.

We arrived and found a table rather quickly on an early Sunday evening. After being seated for about 10 mins, the waitress came over to take our order. She was very friendly when taking our order and thus we expected great service. We ordered cheese curds as an appetizer and two burgers for our meal. After taking our order, she immediately came back with our drinks, but it went downhill from there. The restaurant was about 3/4 full when we placed our order. We waited 40 mins and got nothing. Cheese curds (as an appetizer) should have been out within 10 mins max. The waitress never took the initiative to stop by to apologize for the long wait or to even tell us why it was taking so long. She never once checked on us after delivering our drinks. We left after the 45 min mark because we had still heard nothing from our waitress, and no food had been served to us. The table next to us arrived before we did and were still waiting on their food when we left. I’m not sure what the issue was, but we did not feel valued as a customer here and would not return.
