Off The Grid originated as a small food truck in St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. Rising to popularity in the islands, OTG settled in a quaint artists’ community. Sadly, tragedy struck in 2017 when Hurricane Irma struck the USVI. We didn’t want to give up so began the new adventure of Off The Grid on Cape Cod. With the love and support of our new local family we were able to expand our roots and start the Hillport Gallery location. Finally, we found our new home and created that artist’s community we once belonged to, right here in the owner’s hometown of Sandwich, Ma.We welcome you to the Off The Grid experience.

Nice laid back spot. From Carol with the delicious and creative coffee options to Caroline behind the bar welcoming everyone to the bar, this spot is must when you’re down the cape. Top notch Charcuterie Bloody Mary and the breakfast sandwich options were hearty and fresh. We had the Pastrami special and an eggs bene option. I can’t wait to try their BBQ at lunch.

Cool, chill spot with an outdoor bar with a St Thomas vibe, nice patio and tent dining area. Live music weekends, great staff and interesting bbq, grill and taco menu. Nice out of the way place to relax from the crowds in Sandwich!

Off the Grid catered the barbeque at my parents house the day after our wedding. We had several guests in our backyard and my parents just wanted to be able to relax and enjoy without worrying about cooking for a big group, so we booked off the grid. I WISH I took photos of the food, but it was displayed super nice. They brought everything we ordered, at the exact time we ordered it, and it was very nicely arranged/ displayed. They were super friendly and the food was DELICIOUS. The cheese trays were honestly what took it over the top for me they were so amazing, but the salad, the mac and cheese, chicken, brisket, etc. was all wonderful. 10/10 would recommend. Thanks for being so easy to work with guys!

Where to begin! The venue is gorgeous with water views, the staff was kind, friendly, engaging, helpful and seem to truly enjoy their work. The food was UNREAL! Favorites – wings, brisket, mac & cheese balls, scallops wrapped in bacon and chicken postickers. Alyssa was so great to work with and helped me every step of the way. Thank you Off the Grid! This place is awesome. Had my daughters graduation party there. Everything went off without a hitch. We’ve been here many times before and everything was just as good as it was for the party. The party planner was awesome and helped us every step of the way. Would highly recommend Off the Grid to anyone considering a relaxing dinner out with a date or family. I tried off the grid for the first time tonight. The food and atmosphere were good. The service (food and bar) were awful. We were told 45 minutes for food and waited over an hour without any apologies. The bar took forever… waited almost half an hour just to get a drink. Others in the line were also expressing how they’ve never waited in a line that long for a drink. I understand places are busy in high volume, but the service was disappointing.

My family and I waited an hour for our food tonight. My side of truffle mac & cheese was completely burnt on the bottom, so I could not eat it. I barely had any edible mac & cheese to eat. Service was poor, with no apologies about the unreasonable wait. The kitchen closed before I could go back and say anything. I feel like we wasted our $55.

Off the Grid is such a dope spot! You have food options from BBQ to ramen and tacos. The drinks are awesome, and there plenty of space for everyone to feel comfy without being crowded. My one recommendation is that they get a better bathroom with handicap accessibility so that everyBODY can truly enjoy the space! The Mac n cheese side and Bloody Mary are both amazing!
