I passed by this restaurant number of times on the way Gen Korean BBQ which is the restaurant next door. My wife and I had a short walk in Griffith park and did not wanted to eat heavy. Octopus Japanese was a perfect choice. I had Sumo roll and rainbow roll on the photo and grilled mussel. Everything was good. Service was quick.

Amazing place, delicious food, fair prices, how ever I was never visited by my waitress unless I waved someone down. Like I could have used a 2nd drink but was never checked up on, neither did some of my guest get water refills. Maybe they just didn’t think my group could eat and drink so much, but then again it is sushi so who really gets full on that easily. ✍ place is nice, restroom is clean.

Octopus in Glendale and Burbank are our go-to sushi spots for fresh sashimi, nigiri, or rolls. Their menu is great and they have a decent selection for adventurous eaters. We have been ordering through postmates throughout 2020-2021 and the quality is still there. My daughter and fiancé absolutely love the salmon nigiri. Their sweet shrimp and tuna nigiri is amazing.
