To be honest, if you’re looking for a quick bite and don’t care about the quality of the food, service, or atmosphere then this is where you would go. I have tried a lot of food places and this unfortunately will be one of the worst reviews I have given. Put some seating outside, lighten it up a bit, and I’ll move my review to 2 stars. Do better and I’ll even give a five star. I have been doing reviews for over a decade this is the one of the lowest reviews I have ever given. Most places I review earn. 4-5 star review.

Walk-up window with basic but delicious street tacos. Seemed that there was only one person working so it was a bit slow, but everyone struggles with staffing these days. 100% worth a try, grab some tacos and watch the beach volleyball!

Wow!! Coming from California, it is very hard to find good authentic tocos in Kona! Well this is about the closest you’re going to get! In Cali these tocos get an 8 out of 10! In Kona they get a 15 out of ten! I will be back! BTW, the chicken ones where the best in my opinion! The flavor was awesome! All where good! They have steak, pork, and chicken! Awesome!

Yes, it’s hard to get good authentic Mexican food on the island, but like put some effort at least. Can’t even add salsa its an additional $0.50. And the lady there looks miserable like you’re really going to ask me to wait for you to finish your phone call so you can serve me. I understood what you said I’m mexican. Just wow!

Coming from a Mexican, these are the most unfortunate tacos I’ve ever tried ( I got 2 carne asada and two pork). The service was great, it was quick and there was no line. However, the tacos themselves were extremely bland and unseasoned. I had to add salt to my tacos which is a first. There are far better taco spots on the Kona side.
