Giving 3 ⭐ even tho I do not want to.. I have loved the swamp platter for years and my last visit was very different. The catfish NEEDS to be fried longer and crispy.. they were mushy! The batter pulls off whole on the frog legs. The softshell crab was great and the cheese grits lacked cheese almost! Breaks my heart for 3 ⭐ but it’s not the same!

My mom and I took a day trip here to get some seafood. We were not disappointed. The food was good, the portions were big and the price was decent. Our waitress Kate was very friendly and attentive. The other wait staff was also friendly and on top of things. We will be coming back. I highly recommend.

As we usually eat at ocean galley at least once a month and always have an excellent experience however today was by far the worst. Service was very below par as we waited over expected time to take our drink order and when the food arrived it was below the normal excellent quality. Also the staff was bust joking around and when I finally had to ask the lady at the counter for tarter sauce and catsup. Had to again ask the lady at the counter for a box and to pay whe she said the waitress would take catr of that. I informed her I have been waiting and didn’t have all day. She then took my payment and gave me a Togo box. Very disappointed with out whole experience today as it seemed we weren’t the only ones having issues. Hopefully they get it together or we want be back.

Good service. Food was hot and prepared well. Had combo fried oysters and shrimp.

I had the fried catfish filet plate with fries and coleslaw with sweet tea and key lime pie for dessert. The breading on the bottom of the fish was soggy and placed on some of my fries. The fries and coleslaw were nothing special and the key lime pie was strong on the lime and served with no topping. I am not inspired to return to eat here in the future.

My waitress was very friendly and pleasant. I ordered the grilled shrimp salad BUT when I received my food, I had steamed shrimp topped with black sesame seeds!!! Clearly the shrimp were not grilled. I was highly disappointed

We always love going to Ocean Galley after church. It’s a great seafood restaurant. I had the red snapper, baked potato and salad. It was absolutely delicious. The senior plates have plenty and the price is great.

The wait was above hour, but it was okay, the food was good but just gave a little bit, the tea was not good tasted like water.. The waiter was very nice and and kind… OVERALL WE ENJOYED FATHER’S DAY, WITH MY SON IN LAW….MR. HODGE
