Overall, this is a decent local sushi spot. If you are craving sushi in area, you could come here. They have many “modern” takes in sushi with baked and fried rolls and of course the colorful rolls (i.e. volcano rolls with the bells and whistles of avocado and carrots and the fish eggs). When it came to the sashimi, they fish was average. The fish cuts were large (good value) but not the typical bite-size, well-balanced pieces that I expect.

I decided to dine in for dinner and the prices were unjustifiable for the quality and portion of the food and abysmal service. I expected better value for my money. It felt like a complete rip-off, leaving a bitter taste in my mouth both figuratively and literally. I strongly advise against coming to OC Wasabi. The frustrating order process, subpar sushi quality, and inflated prices make it a dreadful choice for dinner. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out other sushi establishments that prioritize customer satisfaction and offer a superior dining experience.

Do me a favor…get the Maryland fried rice. It comes with shrimp, crab meat and old bay…best fried rice ever! Cozy little spot, I checked beforehand and the website didn’t mention reservations but when we arrived they asked if we had one (then we had to wait about 90 minutes for a table). That’s the only even remotely negative thing I could say. Food was great, hubby had Saki (warm) and he enjoyed. It’s a bit pricy, family of 5 our tab was $200+ but we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in OC.

Attempted to eat here with my family last night. Was greeting with an unwelcoming hostess who told us we needed a reservation- I saw her lists of reservations there were only a couple names. Most definitely not enough to fill the entire restaurant. This coupled with the fact that the family in front of us had no reservation and was instructed to “sit wherever you’d like” – We were told we could eat in the smokey bar or on the patio of the main road. We left. Do not eat here. Do not give these people your money.

The food was great! The atmosphere was very lively for a Monday evening. Overall, experience was definitely worth the visit. Prices are reasonable, especially being one of the only spots for sushi. 5/5 will return again!

As always, amazing food, awesome service, and this time the kids got in on the fun of eating sushi to our level. Each roll was tasteful, colorful, and a huge treat to our family on our last day of vacation. Every year we have to stop at least once at this amazing sushi place! The Voodiu roll is always one of my favorites and this time we got the king boat and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Each kid ate their fill of sushi and cleared their plate of fried rice. Afterwards, we couldn’t help but get the fried ice cream which was a favorite by all three kids.
