It’s sad that the atmosphere is so important. This is a no frills sort of place. The bathrooms are super clean ( with really pretty tile) the kitchen is spotless, and the food is spot on. I had the mole plate, my husband had a burrito, and we shared the fried fish taco. All were delicious. The mole especially was very good. Full of flavor and not sweet! Go for the food and nice people!

The food and service was really good. They give you chips and salsa, both green and red they were both good spicy but not too much. I had the flautas ($12) delicious, they weren’t your everyday simple flautas. They covered them with sour cream, pico, guac, lettuce, and a little salsa whcih you don’t get everywhere. And my husband had the carne asada which even came with a salad, rice, beans, little green onions, and a roasted jalapeño. Oo and some guacamole. Added plus it’s really close to the BART station.

Incredible. This place serves habernero salsa with its chips. Three salsa types come to your table to start you off. The shrimp and fish tacos are out of bounds. So good I forgot to take a picture. Get off the Fruitvale Bart stop and make your way here.

Family owned, great mexican food! Super friendly and courteous staff. Great location at Fruitvale Bart station. Closed on Sundays. Monday through Saturday, open until 6 PM. White pork pozole is delicious!!!
