While we did not actually stop and eat here this visit, we have eaten here many times mm especially in the past. My husband goes hunting and we often camp up a ways closer to Gunnison. The food here is pretty tasty. It is a cute place and where we meet up with our camping and hunting friends. It is typically on our list of to- I recommend trying it if you are hungry and in the area.

The food is always appealing and tasteful. Not to mention served hot in a timely manner. In many small towns I have been to you always get the oh out of Towner’s feel. Not in Saguache and definitely not the Oasis. Although it can be amusing at times as some do not know me but they know my wife who’s family comes from this town. On the 8 or so visits I have made here the bathrooms were clean, the atmosphere friendly and the food is well worth the stop when you pass through Saguache.

Best Mexican food we’ve had in ages. Standard choices but authentic. The red chile sauce is spicy and smoky and complex. The green chile sauce is slightly less spicy, but still pretty hot, with a lighter grassy flavor. Both were excellent. Great service. Friendly locals. Glad we stopped!

Yum! Just came back from a hike this was the only place open withing 40 minutes. Great service Great food they have a little of everything. It hit the spot! They even have rum and Coke you can’t beat this place it’s definitely worth a stop!! Also the pies are yum!
