It’s totally fine pizza. Nice crisp bottom so you can pick up a slice and eat it. They give you fresh basil which is a nice touch. The pepperoni has a good flavor, but the cheese slices on their own are unremarkable.

We had heard about this place offering some of the best gluten free pizza in the area, so we wanted to check it out. We finally had the time to go down and were not disappointed.

Oh yeah! This pizza was very good. Crispy crust and sauce is some of the best I’ve had. This is borderline the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. Can’t wait to go again.

Delicious, as always! Service was phenomenal – welcoming and hospitable staff. Simple menu – not sure if there is a bad item on it! The ricotta and meatballs on this white pizza was fantastic!

First timer! So I order the square pizza, w/meatballs, onions, green peppers, and extra cheese. The ingredients were ok. The dough was not good, didn’t taste fresh , it was tough to chew particularly the edges, not crunchy like I requested.

It saddens me to adjust my review. As someone who lives nearby and has had more positive experiences than negative, I wish I could leave a higher rating. But my last couple orders made me aware of some things that will keep me from coming as often. Especially this last one. I ordered a square pizza with some extra toppings and a Cesar salad. When I saw the $16 price on a Cesar salad I thought…okay this is Oakwood it must be delicious. I’ve had their other salad and it’s good. But this was…just sad. It was big hunks of lettuce not even cut up, with a pile of cheese dumped on top and some bread crumbs. In no way is it worth that price, and frankly it didn’t taste good either after I cut it up and mixed the dressing and crumbs in. I’m so disappointed as I had high hopes. The pizza itself was good but not worth $27 just to be square. After the whole experience I would just say stick to the basics and save your money it’s not worth the price tag to get adventurous here. $56 after 10% tip is a bit steep for walking to come and get this disappointing order.

Hands down best pizza in the triangle. Phenomenal house salad, too. We’ve been coming here for years and typically sit inside the restaurant. This particular Friday evening, we were late heading out and decided it would be faster to order our pizza and salad to go. When we arrived, there happened to be an open spot at the outside window. We were able to order a beer and glass of wine for the wait. This gave us the perfect seat to observe two superb gentleman, Josh and Alistair, as they manned the cash register and the to go orders. It was a particularly busy Friday evening and these two guys were exemplary in how they handled the rush and were absolute gems in their interactions with waiting customers. They were so polite and positive to ensure an excellent experience. Our dinner was delicious as always, but our front row seat to view the customer service at Oakwood made a lasting impression! We were blown away by how professional and cordial Josh and Alistair were during the chaos of a Friday evening. Not only best pizza in the triangle, but also best customer service!

One of the best spots in Raleigh. Best gluten free pizza ever had, plus they make them regular size, not just the personal 10” ones like everywhere else.

I was excited about hearing New Yorkers loving the pizza here. On arrival they only had street Parking which was hard to find. They were quite friendly. The place was small but cozy. If you have a group of 4 or more, it would be a very long wait. After finally ordering to go. I was a bit disappointed. I grew up in Brooklyn Its nowhere near to a New York pizza. The crust was too crispy and a bit hard to chew. Still looking for the best NY pizza in the Triangle.

Best gluten free pizza in the triangle. Has a sour twang to it that I love with a crispy bottom and chewy inside. I am told part of their secret of gluten free is that they purchase their flour from overseas. Inside location is small but very charming with all seats/tables being all fairly equal in ambiance. Enjoy!
