Food was delicious ! Service was good ! Great to sit outside with the great view of the ocean. The flash fried calamari was very fresh and tender. The Crab Cake is a must get ! It’s enough for 2 people. The clam chowder was good and very fresh. Last but not least the local sea scallops were beyond fresh and tender melts like butter. Would def recommend going for some good fresh seafood and an amazing outdoor seating view of the ocean.

I absolutely love love love this place!! Oakland’s is an amazing restaurant with delicious seafood and beautiful views. It is not often that water front restaurants deliver this high quality cuisine. I am also thoroughly impressed with their dishes. I have had their salmon and shrimp (both pictured below) as well as the mussels, shrimp quesadilla, short rib, and scallops. Everything is absolutely delicious. The service is also outstanding with a young and super friendly waitstaff. There is often live music to enjoy and a packed outdoor bar with beautiful sunset views.

Good quality and service but unimpressed with the food itself. It wasn’t bad – but it wasn’t awesome either. Drinks were good and price appropriate. Nice location and overall not bad but I wouldn’t go again considering it’s out of the way, the food just isn’t worth the price or the drive from where we came from. The food prep was safe and hygienic and all those good things, and I’m sure they’d be great at accommodating food allergy and diet restrictions. Not crazy expensive but definitely not where I’d spend $300 on dinner for two next weekend.

Although the food was good and the atmosphere and looks of everything was nice(and they had chocolate mints at the front desk) I have to say 2 stars because it took them 1 hour to give us our food. They took our orders at the same time as the table behind us, yet in the time it took for us to get even just our appetizer(which was cold) and half of our lunch order the table behind us had finished both their first and second courses. We just silently waited for our food as all the people around us(even the people who came in after us) got their’s. Also outside we saw a seagull come eat a sandwich right off of a table(the people there had left already). Would recommend if you have an extra 2 hours.
