I wish I could do a 4.5 star review as I feel like a 4 is too low and a 5 is too high. Bought a large meatza and some Garlic knots. I ordered through Door Dash. Everything got here in a very timely manner. I will say it’s quite expensive for the size. Almost $30 for a 14” “large” when really it’s a medium size in the pizza world. Crust was absolutely amazing and pizza overall was very good. Not sure it would be my go to spot, but in a pickle for sure! Garlic knots were top notch! Doughy and very flavorful.

Oak City Pizza makes excellent Neopolitan-style pizza, best eaten within a few minutes of the oven. You’re missing out if you get it for delivery unless you live really close; takeout or eat in is the best way to enjoy this wood-fired pizza.

The pizza was delicious and the price was very reasonable. I ate my whole pizza which I usually don’t. The service was great. They were about to close and told us no worries don’t rush. Definitely will visit again.. and they serve beef pepperonis major plus… Thank you for the excellent service!!! 🙂

Quite possibly the worst margarita pizza. Tomatoes were 6 months from being ripe, they put DRY basil leaves on the pizza… and to top it off! it was burnt. $40 on uber eats. Never again. I am so genuinely upset right now.

Although this isn’t a place you typically would sit and eat, the staff was amazing and the pizza is good. I love a good wood fired pizza and this place did it perfectly. Stayed simple with a cheese pizza but it was the best my family has had. The dough was the best part. We were only visiting Raleigh for an event but will definitely make our way back.

We ordered from here for the first time through DoorDash and had an awesome experience! Quite a few reviews talk about the pizza being “burnt”. This is a wood fired pizza place so the “burnt” appearance is going to be with any pizza you order due to it being prepared in a wood fire! The food was delicious and the pizza did not taste burnt at all! Highly recommend and will be coming back for more!

We recently went to Packapalooza event on Hillsborough street and this place was kind enough to give out free pizza slices! I must say, this was the best pizza I have ever had in my life! I like the freshness and quality of ingredients used. Even though we have not ordered from this place yet, I would definitely go back and try different options they have.

My Calzone was burnt two times in a Row . I ordered it at 12:30am and it was charred but the actual filling was delicious . So I gave it another the very next day still burnt . I went up there to get it remade . Customer service was ok the cashier just need more trading the guy actually more upset with me because he made the wrong Calzone . One he had too much wood in his fire grill and also he wasn’t turning it enough . They don’t know what they’re doing at all . Customer Service super super trash .

This was the most overpriced, laughably mediocre pizza I’ve ever had. The tomatoes tasted like they were right of a can from the supermarket, the cheese was like Kraft cheese, and the basil was like right out of a Dole bag. The bread tasted soggy from what looked to be tomato broth from the can. There was no flavor, and the “small” pie was as expensive as $15 without tax. I’m new to North Carolina, but if this is what passes for pizza down here, then they really don’t know the difference between good pizza and the soggy, “easy bake oven” kind of pizza.

This is fantastic pizza! We have had it several times and it constantly delivers. It’s made with high quality, fresh ingredients and the crust has an amazing chew to it. I read the reviews and the only thing I can think to explain them is that the reviewers do not value an artisanal pizza. You pay for what you get and this pizza does not disappoint.
