I took my eighty-year-old folks here just after 4pm on a weekday, and we all liked our food. The atmosphere was very pleasant except that the music playing overhead was too loud for us to talk. Otherwise it’s a good place for a casual afternoon meal at a reasonable price. They have indoor and outdoor bars and seating.

Nice chill spot to take your family or friends. Inside seating and patio dining. I ordered to go the BBQ Chicken Philly sub with steak fries and corn fritters. I also ordered a orange dreamsicle adult float while I waited for my order. The drink was great. My sub was bland no seasoning just the toppings and very light bbq sauce

Really great bbq. Had pork and chicken sandwiches, smoky and moist. Great buns that don’t fall apart, unique sauces (loved the hoisin). Sides are all solid too. Service was perfect and fast. Good selection of beers/ciders, and they have cocktails. Oh, good tunes too, we’re playing soul.

This restaurant has a cool ambiance outside if you want to grab a drink on a summer day but the experience may be ruined by the overflowing dumpster or rats that run by. Many reviews say the Mac and cheese is bland but they must have taken it to heart and tried to fix it with an obscene amount of garlic power. The baked beans were also very peppery. Ribs were chewy. Smoked wings tasted like they were soaked in liquid smoke. I usually don’t like to leave negative reviews but these great reviews don’t match up with our experience.

Wanted to try this new place for some BBQ. When we arrived there was no one to greet us so we decided to sit anywhere. Payton, our server, came over after a few minute for drink and a starter (sweet corn fritters) . Drinks came quick but the food did not. We waited about 30-45 minutes before Payton said she would “check” on the starter and it was still an additional 10 minutes before they arrived because the kitchen had lost our ticket.

We found the meat (brisket and ribs) to be dry and chewy. The sides were bland, especially the Mac n cheese and collards. The baked beans were ok. Prices were reasonable, however I would not return.

I really wanted to like this place. Heard rave reviews about the food from friends, menu items looked interesting and I enjoy supporting local businesses. However, my excitement quickly dwindled after I experienced the worst customer service at a restaurant to date. Upon entering as a party of 5, the bartender paid us no attention as we stood waiting to be seated. We arrived at peak lunch hour, but the restaurant was virtually empty aside from a few scattered customers. Finally, a different waitress basically came in and yelled at us to sit anywhere. We did not receive menus and silverware until about 10 minutes later. The waitress proceeded to be standoffish and rude throughout the whole meal. Ruined the experience. The food, while mostly decent, was quite pricey, especially the appetizers. Very small portions of shareables that were not at all worth $12-$15. Will not be returning.
