Place was packed, that can be a good sign. And it was packed for a reason. The food speaks for itself, and so many options to try! Generous portions and with bread too. I had the Gambas a Mocambique and red snapper. The service was top notch and super fast, will return

Today’s Specials on the wall flashed between English and Portuguese, and featured maybe 10 kinds of seafood as well as steaks and chops. Arrived 7pm Friday night and had to wait a little while for a table but glad we did. Was flummoxed by the Portuguese cod tongues, veal liver, and cow knuckles on the menu and maybe ordered wrong. Sopa de marisco was pretty good, liked the garlic croutons, not the piece of imitation seafood so much. Veal marsala was more than I could eat, which is great, came covered in sautéed mushrooms and the sauce they use on bitoque or bife a portuguesa, but not real inspired. I think next time I’ll order something grilled. Some of our Visconde de Borba red wine remained and we were glad for the queijo de serra with marmelada for dessert, though cheese came a little cold, not room temperature. All in all it was a very pleasant satisfying meal. Friendly service, helps to speak Portuguese, tables are kind of close together, can be loud at times, park on street.

My family and I visited O Pipo on Father’s Day as we heard it was a great place for Portuguese food. It did lived up to the hype. The place was bustling. The food was great (big portions) and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be back!

Food was delicious and the waiters were friendly and made excellent suggestions, their sangria has a little too much sugar added to my taste but I’m sure they can adjust that next time.

Super fresh seafood and everything else. Fantastic service. Home grown neighborhood bistro. Very close to the airport especially the rent a car center if you got a couple hours.

Incredible! The food, the service and the prices. Some of the great dishes I have had are, salmon and scallops, garlic shrimp, shrimp and rice, stuffed lobster. Everything that we have had, has been great, a nice bunch of people to take care of you, this is a very well run restaurant! Try to get there at off-peak times, or it’s very busy and not easy to park.
