Really enjoyed our meal here! Took a chance on open table while looking for some place to dine. The staff is super nice and accommodating. Even let us pick our table. The salad is HUGE we split a Cesar. The portions are generous, had the chicken parm and Greek pork chops. Looking forward to going back. Glad we gave it a try.

Perfect Sunday brunch! From the basics to the unexpected this buffet was amazing. All the breakfast items were available bacon eggs French toast home fries… I enjoyed the made-to-order omelettes. There was a beautiful assortment of salads from traditional to a pumped-up caprese and a cabbage and carrot salad…don’t get me started on the assortment of pasta salads. The carving station offered three selections of freshly carved meats, ham, roast beef and lamb. Now let’s talk desserts… Cheesecake pastries a chocolate pudding dessert assorted cakes and pies… I chose the red velvet, fitting with Valentine’s celebration. The service was welcoming and attentive. The wait staff was quick to refill our coffee and remove our plates checking infrequently to see if we need anything. Chef’s at carving station and omelette bar were friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful dinner here for Mother’s Day! My mother had been to an event at The Nutmeg a few years back and raved about their baked stuffed shrimp. Even though they no longer had the item on the menu, they accommodated and made the dish for my mother. She was so thrilled and thoroughly enjoyed her meal! Thank you for accommodating her and for your terrific customer service. All the food was delicious, from the appetizers to the main entrees to the desserts! Great experience! Will definitely dine here again!

My husband and I wanted to make sure we wrote a review before leaving for our honeymoon. If you are considering The Nutmeg for a small/medium wedding, do it. It’s very hard to find a venue with an 50 person minimum. Our family and friends keep telling us how lovely the evening was and it was exactly what we envisioned. Brian — if you’re reading this, you are fantastic. Multiple people have mentioned this to us as well. Thank you for everything and we’ll be back soon!

Tonight, we returned to the Nutmeg to celebrate our 16th wedding Anniversary. The entire staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Our server, Brian, was the best. He was attentive but let us relax between courses. The food and service was just as special as it was 16 years ago. My salmon dinner tonight was perfection. My husband loved the sea bass. Our very generous complimentary dessert was superb. Looking forward to our next visit,

We just finished a great dinner, four orders, each one different and each one as delicious as the next. They all looked and tasted excellent with great presentation. Service was outstanding and they didn’t rush us out even as they got to closing and we were still talking.

I’m writing this review to say how terrible the Easter brunch was. The meat station was horrible over cooked beef the ham was not good. The chicken and fish stations were both dry. I had a party of 6 and paid about $450 including tip for basically having scrambled eggs linked sausage and hash browns the only thing that tasted good besides the fruit. I called the Nutmeg and left a message the next day I did get a call from the manager who was very apologetic and said the owner was not around but assured me he would get back to me that never happened. I’m writing this review because when you pay that kind of money and receive less than desirable food it’s very frustrating. Lost a future customer i patron this restaurant before but never again.

Brian was our server for lunch and he contributed greatly to the experience. I had the chicken picata and my wife had the veal parmesan. Both were excellent. We brought home more than half of both and had another meal.
