Simply top notch Mexican food. It’s located in a unique older building with charm. The chips and chunky salsa is full of flavor. The mole chicken enchiladas were delicious. The rice and refried beans were fresh and full of flavor.

Unexpected mouth watering infectious and dad-blasted amazing. The tamales were wrapped tightly and still smoldering in the husks. That chicken taco salad was definitely a reason to return. Enchiladas prepared to perfection. I was always told to judge a good Mexican restaurant by their enchiladas

This TexMex restaurant has served the people of Atlanta for 30 years. You can see the entire story in the photographs that are framed and mounted on the walls.

Authentic Mexican cuisine. Fast, simple and pleasant experience. They serve only Pepsi products not Coke-a-cola. Parking can be found in front of the building or across the street at no charge. They don’t do reservations so be prepped to wait if you come at peak times.

This spot is not it . If your hungry and really want to eat don’t go here . They are good for drinks not there soda tho . They also give chips and salsa which was good we also got some cheese dip and that was really good to . I got a steak fajita to eat and I didn’t really eat because there was more peppers and onions than steak . (Horrible ) I got a side of fries that had no flavor and were burning hot with oil dripping , it was so bad I left it there as a full order . The fajita came with rice and beans and “salad “. The salad was just lettuce with a spoon of guacamole and spoon of sour cream . My husband got a enchilada that the sauce was not only dry but burnt as well . The steak was poorly seasoned . But he did say the shrimp taco was good . Food took a while and the environment was super loud and expensive ! For 64$ it was not worth my time or money .could of went to del taco .

Food is EVERYTHING!!!! At this point in my ATL experience, this is my favorite Mexican spot. We’ll see if another takes the rank, but it would be a far reach.

Great local favorite for Mexican food. I’m not an expert on authentic food, but I can attest that the food was hot, tasty and plentiful. Cody dining areas and a small bar. Staff was friendly and attentive. Outdoor patio for the warmer days. Parking across the street is plentiful. Masks required at this time. Come early or you will be waiting for a table.

This was my first visit and I enjoy myself. This restaurant is very popular so plan to wait for a table. They allow you to order drinks and sit on the porch while to you so that’s helpful. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas & I had the Chicken tamales and they were delicious.
