This place slaps hard. The business has been family owned since 1917. Each day they have different specials but always have 6 varieties of Brats available. Food is self serve and very reasonably priced. They also have a small section of ice cream. They have a couple freezers stocked of their meats you can purchase or they will ship around the Michigan area. We are lunch here two days in a row and both days dozens of locals swung by to grab a bite for lunch. The staff are friendly and it was very clean. The menu is not large but what they do have is delicious.

This place has amazing sausages and bratwurst. All the recipes are family recipes, and they have a huge variety of options to choose from. My particular favorite are the IPA beer brats and the fresh polish sausage. This is definitely a must-stop whenever I am in Alpena.

It’s a small shop but you can also eat there as well as get ice cream. It is one of my son’s favorite places to eat. I usually pick up brats for a cookout. I like to get different flavors. So far, all have been good. I purchased landyaeger for my husband. It was very tasty. Staff is always friendly.

I will always stop to try sausages and on a recent trip through Alpena I stopped at Nosicki’s. I purchased a package of German brats and a package of original landjaeger (german hunters sausage). Both were delicious and well worth the stop. The staff was informative and knowledgeable. They even helped with other recommendations in the area for lunch. My only regret is I live over 1000 miles from this shop and cant stop more often.

Old school vibe. My wife and had lunch for $9 for both of us. A rotating selection of brats with a stellar selection of toppings. The horseradish cheese is the hottest around. This is not a sit down restaurant it’s more like a lunch counter, in fact it’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen. You pick your dog out of a roaster dress it yourself, grab a bag of chips or a cup of chili and a pop. Either sit down inside or go sit on your tailgate and have lunch – like it was 1955.

Delicious brats and friendly service! We stopped in for a deli style self serve lunch and left with half dozen packages for the freezer at home. Highly recommend a stop in.

Tried Nowickis sausages when visiting Shipshewana in Frankenmuth, MI. Feel in love with every sample I tried as well as the family running the both. Bought a few things there from them for my husband to try back at home and he enjoyed them as well and have since bought several different flavors of the sausage sticks. We will definitely be getting more
