Delicious crab chowder and garlic bread. I’m not sure what they put on the bread but it is so good! My most recent visit was better than some because there was outdoor seating available. In the past there were a few stools along the outside of the shop but if those were taken, you had to go find a place to sit and eat somewhere else. The addition of the floating seating area makes a big difference in the atmosphere and draw to go there for a meal! The people behind the counter are always cheerful and personable. There was a young girl helping deliver food out to the table and she was just a sweetie! Lovely family run operation and very worth taking the time to stop and enjoy a meal.

This place is a perfect little spot, on the dock and specializes in crab chowder and crab legs. All the positive reviews don’t do this place justice though, it’s far better than five stars! It’s the best chowder in the area and rivals some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend if your in Florence. Come early though as they tend to sell out from what I hear.

Ah this is the best crab I have had on Oregon coast. Although I have a habit of eating crabs cooked in spices, this crab cooked in just water and salt was just amazing. There was so much meat in it that I was full after eating half a crab, half garlic bread, small crab chowder and a white claw. The crab chowder was also very tasty. Must visit this place if you are a crab lover.

was pleasantly surprised at how good it was!! the staff was very sweet and quick, despite it being pretty warm outside. the crab chowder was really yummy and flavorful and the crab was great! gonna be recommending this place to anyone going through florence for sure.

Today, we went to Novelli’s to get some Crab Chowder, and BOY did it pay off. The Crab Chowder was hot and delicious with a moderate amount of crab as well as potato. We got the Mom’s Garlic Bread, and it was perfectly seasoned, so much I had to go order some more. Overall, 5 stars would be recommended.
