My wife and I were regulars and went for breakfast almost every Sunday. From the first time we stopped in to the last the food was nothing short of outstanding. The service was always excellent and the atmosphere pleasant. We found out this past Sunday that it had been sold and we were very dismayed. There is a sign on the window now saying that coming soon it will be known as the Davenport Diner. We are hopeful the quality of the food and service remains true to the high standards Nothing Fancy had before it and eagerly await its reopening.

Great southern comfort food. The only of it’s kind, own and operated by a family from a northern state with over 18 years experience in restaurant business. I had a wonderful experience with my family and the staff are attentive and on point.

We have been driving past this place ever since it opened and finally got to stop in. We seated ourselves and were brought menus almost immediately. Service was fast and friendly. They were fairly busy but it was pretty quick ordering and being served. I had an omelette and it came out just the way I like them. The servings were good sized and the pricing was reasonable. I look forward to trying them for lunch.

Ideal place for breakfast with a great variety of choices. The breakfast scrambles are really a better version of an omelette, and the inclusion of hash browns is the perfect complement to anything ordered from the menu. The staff are friendly, attentive and offer forthright service that is perfectly suited for this style of restaurant.

I went here this morning for the very first time. We let our server know it was our first time. She did not seem to even care if we were there or not. I ordered an egg and cheese omelet with French toast side. I went to eat my omelet, made it halfway and in the very center as I was chewing noticed ham, green peppers and onions. I quickly spit it out and panicked because I am highly allergic to meat. I flagged down my waitress and let her know there was a problem and now I’m highly allergic to meat. She didn’t seem to care, said she would go grab the manager. About a minute later she came back with a new check and no manager. All she said was “took the omelet off”. No apology, no offer to make a new one. Nothing. I was so taken back by no manager coming to see what happened or apologize or anything and the servers lack of caring that it could potentially harm me that I will NEVER come back here again or recommend it to anyone!

Ministry of Magic Are Morons
Everything I have eaten here has been great. Mostly had breakfast items but they have been worth every penny. Service is always spot on and friendly. Highly recommend this wonderful place.

First impression was nice. Then the server instead of looking at the customers was using the phone to take the order. Yes, that may be nice but not great customer service. Spilt Pea soup was WAY to thick and the croutons tasted like fish. Then came the meal… I ordered a Reuben and it was decent except the tots definitely confirmed the fish taste. Fryer oil should be changed more often for sure.
