This is a local joint that is super good! This is a smaller place, but quick and efficient. The staff is wonderful and super friendly. You order upfront and then sit down in a place. The chicken and waffles are so good!

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Helena. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was intimate and fun. Ordered the salmon and arugula sandwich on homemade millet bread, which was tasty and not overly-seasoned. The bread was nice and thick, but with some millet breads, the bread didn’t hold together well. No problem for me, though, as I simply ate it with my fork… I didn’t want to miss any of the taste of this wonderful bread. The sandwich was of a very generous size, so no skimping on portions here. Overall, I enjoyed my visit, appreciated the friendly chef and staff, and loved the food!

First of all, for how good the food is the restaurant should have been busier! Everything was to die for! I ordered the egg and greens sandwich, which comes with a homemade biscuit, arugula, pesto, feta and eggs. The whole thing melts in your mouth and the flavors work perfectly together! I also ordered the strawberry pistacchio toast, which was also the main reason I wanted to try this place. If I thought the sandwich was great, this toast combination was 5 times better! It comes with a thick slice of toast, a layer of ricotta, honey, pistachios, and strawberries. My overall experience can be consolidated in one word: PHENOMENAL.

The food is top notch, or should I say Top Nosh. The staff are incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and comforting. We had the sausage and egg & greens sandwiches, along with the ricotta and jam toast. Even after being stuffed with those, we couldn’t leave without trying the apple and ricotta waffle.

Just had a super disappointing experience here. When I came inside to pickup my eggs and toast, the chef who was an older man came to the counter an accused me of ordering and not picking up “the same thing” last week. I ordered eggs and toast, a common item. I would never do such thing, and I explained to him it wasn’t me as I’ve been on vacation. This was embarrassing. I usually order twice a week but will not be coming back. Learn how to treat people.

The food we had was excellent, specifically my fried chicken and waffle. But what stood above all things was the friendly staff, including the owner being very engaged with customers and engaging in friendly conversation about food and cooking. Highly recommend this establishment.
