First time here today. Came here after a friend suggested it. First glance at entry, def a local vibe. It’s got some history for sure. Service was suitable. Not friendly but not horrible either. Ok…. on to the food. Had a side salad and it was filling in itself. Lots of iceberg but refreshing. Pizza was ok. Personally, I like a thinner crust. Although it was a bit thicker, the bottom was crispy. Didn’t have much flavor to it and was soggy. The pizza was loaded with toppings. Almost too much as if it were a bad thing. I understand why they give you a knife and fork now. Had the Maui and the Combo. Preferred the Maui over the Combo just on flavor. I may go back again if I’m in the area. Lots of locals here so there’s gotta be something else there I didn’t get. Stay tuned!

Cute old school spot with filling pizza and cool illustrations on the walls. A bit chaotic service even though they weren’t busy but homey in that way. Main thing: wish it was easier to know when they were open and be able to count on it. I’ve seen so many places close that don’t stay open at regularly posted hours. I hope this place sticks around!

Friendly staff, amazing pizza, salads and appetizers. I ordered a small pizza which was HUGE. The bartender tried to guide me toward the smaller 7″ pizza but I was sure I needed a small. Ended up taking mosr it home and warming it in the oven later. Even warned later, the pizza was exceptional.

They are closed as of 1/31/2023 and we are sad. We tried to get in for one last pizza during their last two weeks and weren’t successful. ☹ On our first try, we went on a Monday, only to find out they weren’t open on Mondays. On our second (and last) try, we arrived at 3:20 pm. After standing on line, we finally made it in the front door at 5:00 pm. At 5:20 pm, with two groups still in front of us, they announced that they were closed, with a 2 hour backlog of orders, and since the posted closing time was 7:00 pm. Oh well, lots of memories of eating here in the past. Another Seattle-area institution is gone.

I wouldn’t have found this join on my own. My uncle invited my sister and yours truly to pizza, and brew, after the Sounders victory the other night.

Northlake is fantastic! I’ve been going there for 35+ years. My favorite pizza is their combo with zesty sauce. Yummmmm! They also have great salads and a wide assortment of beer. Always there any time I am in the area! Went again tonight had the Maui zesty sauce. Fantastic as well!

It was my first time at this restaurant, looks like and smells like an old place, but clean and well-maintained nicely decorated, had beautiful art works, good customer service, we ordered small size pizza and it was big enough for 2 of us and we took 2 pieces home. It was very delicious, the dough was melting your mom, not to think not to thin, everything was perfect, highly recommended.

Ordered a half combo and half without olives and mushrooms. Instead we got a half of pizza with a can full of soggy olives and can of. mushrooms dumped on the other half. It looked nothing like the reviews shown from previous customers. When I asked about it, there was no apology or mention when they billed us. It was not edible. Sad for a $44 pizza.

They definitely have a niche to the pizzas they do.

I went there with a good friend of mine who grew up in the area many moons ago and he said the pizza is just as good as it was when he was a kid in the dark ages lol. I didn’t get his name but the guy who took our order said the cook has been there for over 30 years so I thought that was pretty cool . This was the second time my friend took me there and both times the pizza was amazing and the staff was super friendly and efficient. When so many longtime businesses did not survive the pandemic it makes me happy that there are still a few independent non-chain pizza joints and I will gladly give them my business. It also have that good down home welcoming atmosphere and though I was driving and I could not have a tasty adult beverage I did notice they had a good selection of beer.
