Food was delicious. I had catfish, mac-n-cheese, and dirty rice. It was fresh and tasty. My friend ordered the shrimp po boy which looked delicious. Staff are attentive and friendly. The wait was long but well worth it. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend Northern Nola.

Finally got a chance to check this place out after months of failed attempts…it was absolutely worth the wait. I had the seafood gumbo, white chicken chili and peach cobbler and it was delicious! Also had the best cornbread ever! Definitely worth the visit, prices equal portion and the owners are mad cool and personable. Even considering having them cater an event for an upcoming meeting. Check them out, you will not be disappointed!

Ordered seafood gumbo and the aroma made my mouth water. The gumbo was full of sausage and shrimp. First bite I fell in love. It’s perfectly seasoned and the flavors danced on my palette. Can’t wait to order again.

Salmon & Shrimp bowl was good. The Salmon was cooked perfectly and the brown butter sauce was so flavorful. The rice was some of the best I’ve had. The shrimp was cooked well but needed more seasoning. My only issue was the Mac & Cheese. Nothing about it said southern. It was mid at best and was not seasoned at all. Overall I enjoyed my meal and would go back.

Wow ! The food was amazing! We got the fish fry and the fish was seasoned perfectly, nice crunch! the red beans and rice was amazing ,, cabbage was so flavorful! The presentation was neat and the portions were perfect as well! I’m very impressed which is hard for me lol

We had a employee iconic today and this was the first time trying this food. The sweet potata dish was phenomenal, the Mac an cheese phenomenal and shrimp pasta again phenomenal I am going to try other from the restaurant. I felt like I left Rochester and went somewhere authentic. To all please try!!

We ordered a breaded haddock fish dinner. I got the dirty rice and my husband got the southern Mac and cheese. It was superb! We ordered the peach cobbler and brownie dessert combo—wow. You can taste the love in this food! Bravo Northern Nola!

What a fabulous find! Catfish po’boy and wings! Food was absolutely delicious, nicely seasoned, cooked fresh to order and excellent customer service; especially from Daddy’s beautiful and talented little helper! My friends and I enjoyed a fabulous Saturday lunch and I look forward to trying out the Friday menu for a full dinner soon!

I have tried several dishes. I had the jambalaya which has a very nice taste with plenty of meat. The cat fish was cooked to perfection. I don’t really eat a lot of seafood but the seafood lasagna was excellent, (I’ve ordered that twice). The red beans and rice are straight out of New Orleans. As for the desserts the strawberry shortcake, sweet potato pie and the peach cobbler are all spectacular❤️ Trust me, you will not be disappointed, and you will definitely come back for more.
