One of my favorite restaurants I’ve tried in San Marcos. I’ve been to San Marcos twice and both times I had to make a stop here, the curry queso keeps bringing me back! But seriously their food is so flavorful, it comes out quick, and the staff is incredible. I could recommend anything I’ve tried, from the veggie samosas (vegan) to either the chicken tikka masala taco or the chicken curry taco, it’s hard to pick just one. I tried their North Street cold brew, which I was told was cold brew steeped with cardamom pods and mixed with sweetened condensed milk. I love the spice the cardamom added to the cold brew.

Cute place and great service. We started off with some samosas, which were great, and then we chose the curry trio. All 3 choices lacked some flavor and spiciness. We also tried a paneer taco, and it was also ok.

Shout out to Sarah for making my first time at that restaurant it was very delicious. I enjoyed the chicken tikka, and vegetable samosas definitely filled me up, and the blueberry lassi was a refreshing cold drink for my walk to my apartment. I definitely will visit this spot again.

The North Street Curry Shop is fan-friggin-tastic! First off, the atmosphere is questions, cute, well lit and decorated. There is an outdoor eating area, as well as indoor seating. The decor in and outside were eye catching and had a very nice vibe.

Came here for a farewell party with 10 people. I made a reservation, and we were seated inside, which was awesome. The patio is nice, but it’s still August in Texas service was fantastic. They have vegan and gluten-free options for my friends with food sensitivities. Service was great. Drinks were superb. Food always slams. Glad I chose this place for my farewell dinner. Thanks guys!!

We haven’t eaten here in a while so drove from Kyle to have some hipster Indian. We started with some Chicken Curry Nachos. My mom always gets a second bowl. After eating some chips and toppings, we tip part of the chips and pour some of the curry sauce over the second set of chips.

Good quality food that provides a fusion Indian food take, however nothing is truly spicy (no, you can’t ask for extra spice according to multiple waitstaff) and the food definitely caters to college students who haven’t eaten Indian food before. If you want more variety in regional cuisine, you’ll need to travel to ATX, but this is a decent place.
